Now please don't read this as if I'm taking anything for granted, coz I certainly ain't, but purely out of interest, who would rather win this league outright, as the confirmed power of the Conference, and who would rather win promotion via the glory of the playoff final? Champions and a genuine trophy, or Wembley memories to last forever more?

Heart says Wembley, head says champions of course. Going up automatically has the benefit of a bit more time to prepare for the new season. If only it could be so simple as this choice!

Going up automatically, preferably secured before the last game of the season, to avoid another nail biting final day.

Champions, just to water over all the fans that told us this league was a struggle.

Couldn't care less as long as we go up.
Same goes for goal difference and hoofball.
We can play sh** all season as long as we go up.

Champions . Been and done Wembley thanks. Same for me. Don't get me wrong, I would love to go to Wembley again to watch Rovers play, just not in the Conference play-off final. I would much rather win this as champions and then I can hopefully tick another thing off the list and see us presented with a trophy at the Mem.

I don't think I'll ever forget the feeling when Sammy Igoe's ball crossed the line at Wembley and we knew we were up, then again the defeat in the Play off finals is hard to take as well!
If we could guarantee a win then the Play off's win as we can't lets just go for the Championship, although we may well have to settle for the Play Offs this season the way barnet are going.

Ah but in my scenario I'm guaranteeing success either way. It's just a choice of the method.

I don't think I could bare being as close to s league return as a play off final and then losing, knowing it meant at least another year down here. Champions for me please!

Promotion as Champions secured before the season ends..... play offs are a lottery

As champions. Be careful what you wish for as these play offs will be very tough given what's at stake, and the pressure on us would be bigger than on any other club. Plus, there's plenty of glory in winning the league, Wembley can wait.....
