Phew, just saved the thread, it was going to drop off of the front page! It had to be done, how else are we going to find out all the inside information. More like inside leg measurement than inside information. ☹️

In all the excitement of the snakey return and memorials for Junior this has dropped a page. Can’t be missing out on the latest instalment of ‘in the corridors of power’ can we?

The original Bristol post article from the BP (published 08/08) said it was a crucial 2/3 weeks for the sale. I wonder if anyone has heard anything new? Regardless of how untrustworthy the source 😏.

"Should be an announcement before the end of September. Was speaking to a major property developer in Bristol on Monday, it’s the talk of the City in his field. I also heard at the ground last night it’s full steam ahead now, advanced stages with the council. My property contact has said all the trades and building contractors are scrambling around to get in on the project with in his words, an imminent recession to hit the UK in 2020 and they will all need the work. Went onto say ideal time to build, 3 years time when Brexit gone and out of recession we will have take advantage of building costs and competition for work."

All these people 'talking' about it, all these contractors lining up for work.......and yet not a single real peep out of anyone. Is this thing locked down tighter than a US Military Black project?

If a month ago talks were reportable reaching a climax, with journalists even speaking with the consortium, why haven’t we heard anything at all since?

Needed a laugh, thanks I doubt anyone, even Boris, can predict the outcome of Brexit in two months time let alone the economy in 3 years.

Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos Football have bought Nice FC in France and have looked at many clubs for value and potential. Could we fall into that bracket?
The owners are supposedly British based but it's just a theory.
I'm struggling to think of many people willing to sink millions into a stadium site and a football club but he could certainly be one.
