No hope.... But it still contains the word 'hope', so we might as well run with it, at least until its hopeless and then we move on to the next 'no hope' opportunity.... Well there’s always Bob.....

Gashead friend who works at FM and spoke to someone from Total produce may be BS but he does not think so. £58m $58 mill, we should tell the Fruitiers to get fckd. Avonmouth would be more viable.

Realistically I think we will tart up the Mem and stay there, bobbing around div one and two. Hotels, conference centres, it’s just fckn nonsense.

I was pretty excited about the UWE but have been sceptical about the FM - I know there are genuine efforts and talks but any potential deal seems very complicated with so many parties involved. I would be be happy to stay at the Mem but wouldn’t be happy with further tarting up and tents etc. I wouldn’t think it would be too difficult to extend the West Stand and Terrace the full length to the pitch. A permanent roofed Terrace in place of the South Stand. Knock down the North Terrace and replace with a steep Stand which would be our mini Kop! The big spend would be on a bigger, full length stand to replace the East Stand and Terrace.

The ground is a shambles, even permanent structures arent much better than the tents. The whole thing needs to be brought down to the ground.

The 2007 (?) plan had it all covered. Replace the extensive student housing planned to be part of that plan with conference centre, hotel, restaurants, fitness centre etc, and we're off and running. I know it won't happen though. I'm not happy about the totally unfounded unsubstantiated rumour about Avonmouth. That's basically in Wales isn't it? I'm outraged about that. Even though it's not true.

Grants are not available for terracing. Any idea what sort of grant (in terms of £s) we could apply for? No idea what the current levels are but they have never been huge compared to the overall cost of stadium redevelopment. Demolition and rebuild is the cheapest option I can't see that happening though. The current owners have already said so and on top of this they are currently negotiating selling the club. It would appear that those interested in taking over are only interested if there is potential to build a stadium elsewhere other than The Mem so I agree with an earlier poster, the plans talked about by both interested parties (I believe the third has gone cold) appear extremely complicated and probably (fruit) pie in the sky.

So so many bans will be handed out that I reckon I could be the last poster on here......All By Myself ! A fine sing indeed, but by Eric Carmen not Eric Burdon. You're double banned. Johnny Burnette, wasn’t it?
