Could have been us if it wasn't for the shyster Wael. Thanks for nothing Waely. I don't really think it ever could have. Much as it pains me to say Bristol sport is a slick professional business. and everything we are not. We're run more like a crappy car boot sale rather than a slick professional business. It's embarrassing and sickening how far apart the two clubs are in terms of professionalism and infrastructure.

Yes if he bent over and gave Uwe all they wanted. Then I'm sure people like you would have moaned down the line, about the bad deal. The bad atmosphere etc. We need new facilities we all know that. But personally I didn't want a jogging track for students, the atmosphere at new ground can be bad enough as it is. Didn't want lecture halls in it for Uwe, student bar, to give them naming rights, parking on non match day. That's just the stuff we know about, that was said at the time. If you were happy to have a football stadium, which was aimed more at the university than a football club so be it. Why do you think Wael said that the design would have to be changed and we would have had to reapply for planning anyway. Better to wait, than sign a bad deal like Coventry. There is a lot we can moan about refusing m regarding the owner's. Uwe is not one of them though. Training ground etc I'm more annoyed about. But then I case see why they would wait, until a stadium was sorted etc. Not a good deal for Waely, but doesnt mean it wasn't a good deal for the football club. So you wanted all that included?? It would have good for the club how?? If it's good for the football club, it's good for Wael! He could have sold us easier, if it was good for the club. Makes no sense.

Have you seen their accounts?? They just have money to burn. They have not been run well at all. They are getting there, after how many years?? After investing how much?? Can't compare the 2.

It's just an agreement to do a few work placements. ffs. A link up with UWE could have brought us many benefits. ffs. So, we can link up with them any time to get the benefits a link up could bring were we inclined to do it. There's no rule that says UWE can only link up with one org. And what are they getting, somewhere to put a few gap year work placements, and some free tickets. Not everything is horrifically bad news that we have to get the pitchforks out for. In a month where our league campaign has gone completely to sh**, istm we can relax about a few work placements agreed between a couple of local businesses. To be honest, I'm surprised you're not a bit more reticent about demanding the board do exactly what you demand them to do, recently.

For all it's professionalism Bristol Sport Ltd can have an odd way of doing business, at the Gas you can tip up at the club shop and buy a ticket. I went to buy a ticket from the shop at trashton, sorry Sir you can only buy online or over the phone. Struck me as pretty sh*t, like us they do have a match day ticket office with all the queues that go with that pffft

Thats the problem with some gasheads though isnt it. Always easy to blame someone else, we are the sporting equivalent of America and Britains political workings. Instead of addressing what is staring us right in the face it must be down to someone else! Not at all, what do you want everyone to do, just ignore the fact, BS continue to spread themselves into our so called natural territory, seem to have a connection somehow to the potential stakeholders we are working with. Lansdown was advising UWE when that all that begun to fall apart, they announced a partnership with Total Produce (the big FM stakeholder) a day after there were talks of FM as potential site.... i don't think everything is as above board as you like to think.
funniest post today well done

Having an owner worth in excess of £2 billion helps. If money was no object we'd be doing the same. No doubt. But we don't have an owner worth what Lansdown is. How we've survived so long is beyond me.
