Thanks for posting this. We could easily have had double figures. Dorchester gave us so much time on the ball. That said, Ellis did well with his back to goal, and clearly has a lot of variety to his game. Hope he can kick on from here as the talent is there.

We scored 7, which is brilliant, but wow, some of that defending by Dorchester was terrible!

Quality coverage! Love their twin towers and the pillar in the way just adds to the old wembley feel!

Lovely to notch 7 but I hope no-one gets carried away.
Fans at the game made it sound like we kept the ball on the deck without Cunny playing. But, just in the limited highlights, we fired at least half-a-dozen high-balls to Ellis in the first half. He won most of them against the smallish Dorchester defence but they would've been meat & drink for big, ugly Conference centre-halves.

Do we try to keep it on the carpet? Route one should be used sparingly, it's the best way to lose possession.

A few of those were good finishes actually. I know it was against lower opposition who in theory have a worse defence and keeper but at least it shows our players can find the net.
And fair play to Monkhouse, for me has has so far been our worse signing but he took his goals well and comments from those there suggest he had a good game as well.

Agree he's not played brilliantly since he came here, but his goal scoring record considering he's missed a few games through injury isn't half bad for a midfielder this season.

Monkhouse reminds me of Jeff Hughes. His general play, never really in games, a quiet bloke who is pitching in with a few goals yet still not convincing us fans. And probs on good wedge for this division.
