Jock Alexander the lunatic.
As a full back, loved him.

Fingers crossed for a successful Scottish signing (albeit loan) if it happens. Think of any? I can only think of Donnie Gillies who was any cop (and remember where he came from). Martin Cameron, Darryl Duffy...not really Think positive. MC's have been good. McChrystal, McBurnie... McChrystal is Northern Irish.

He might be a good player but for his sake 17 seems a bit too young to send a player out on loan so far away from home.

Kenny ronaldson was Scottish And without checking think he was our first ever active substitute back in the mid 60s. UTG!

GC pretty much put this one to bed now! Joked that he wouldn't sign a player from Rangers but if it was a Celtic player then maybe! Said he hadn't heard the rumour but will look into where it came from.

Shockingly bigoted comments from somebody in a senior position at an English football: "Asked whether he was in for McPake, the Irish manager responded in complete shock at the question. He replied: “From Rangers? Rangers? Are you actually telling me I am going to be signing a Rangers player? If he was from Celtic I might think about it. “I haven’t seen that, I haven’t read that, I will go home and have a look and see where that has come from. “It is the first I have heard of it." www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/bristol-rovers-boss-graham-coughlan-3208773

For the last 30 years I've been wanting a 'gretsch country gent'.... alas.... I still can't afford one

Yeah, a gretsch electromatic was my first electric and I've had it ever since. Still play it quite a lot as it's a great guitar, not in public I hasten to add, I just play for fun!

I may not be completely sold on GC as a manager but to bash him for this seems a bit unnecessary IMO.
