It's annoying but I'm not surprised. It'll always be that way when one side of the city is, unfortunately, higher/more advanced in the pyramid than the other. Can't imagine it'd be too different in Sheffield, Birmingham, Liverpool, Norfolk, Nottingham et al. I think the best way to combat this would be for us to be, you know, good at football n stuff... You’re dead right about Norfolk - the Kings Lynn Town forums are buzzing with fury about all the attention given to Norwich City 😎 Haha admittedly I thought the Norwich-Ipswich rivalry was geographically closer. Oh well!

Oh well! But as Ipswich is in Suffolk it would be unlikely that Radio Norfolk would devote more time to a Suffolk team than they would to one in Norfolk.

We still cover Yeovile and they are in deep Somerset and not far from Dorset!?

My Father and I said exactly the same thing on the way home. Some shed rang in talking about great play by blah blah, how they worked well down the wings, playing the front man in etc, he wasn't even there but was listening to the commentary! And they let him dribble on for about 5 minutes.

All championship games are available on sky via the red button when they are showing a champ game.

Out of interest, how many of you were unable to get on air last night?

Thanks to Geoff Twentyman for a Having a Gas, that combined a really respectful celebration of Junior Agogo's career and talk with Martin Belsten's grandson, Richard and Andy Gurney, Phil Bater and Steve Yates.
I like Radio Bristol Sport.

I like Radio Bristol Sport. I actually like Radio Bristol Sport, it’s just that it was noticeably biased in favour of the sh**e on Tuesday night and it wasn’t the first time . . .

Is it not the case that when Rovers or City are at away and the match receives full commentary that more listeners and in turn callers will be listening to the show? Sir, you most stop this ridiculous use of facts. Stop it now

Sir, you most stop this ridiculous use of facts. Stop it now Actually, I don’t think that that is necessarily the case - I always listen to GT’s post-match show, whether I’m on the way home from a game at the Mem, or at work, or I haven’t been able to make an away game. And regardless of who is playing at home, with the exception of young Ollie and a bloke called Terry, there always seem to be more C*ty on there than us. That is what I was trying to draw attention to, just to see whether or not other listeners had noticed the same thing . . .

Perhaps it is purely a lack of callers who have actually been to the game, but it is absolutely absurd to have someone (mainly City fans) offering their views on an Away match they have sat & listened to on the radio.

I don't think we can complain about a City bias, because the truth is that no one can be bothered to ring in about Rovers, apart from the two mentioned. I've never felt inclined to do so and I suspect most are the same. I liked the fact that Ollie would ring in and give his youthful punditry, but I reach for the off switch as soon as Terry comes on.

Even on the rare good day when he has something positive to say, I’d rather not hear it.
