In my own little effort to help the Fan's Forum Sponsor Club raise £1,200 to enter the BRFC 1883 Sponsors Club (see gaschat.co.uk/thread/2520/enter), I will donate money from ANY copies of 'Away The Gas' sold through my website ( www.awaythegas.org.uk) until the end of March. It costs £9.99, including UK delivery. Delivery could be via post, or may even be by my own little feet if you live near any of my movements. ANY orders will result in a £2.50 donation to the FFSC fund. But if you order it and tell me you read about on this forum, I will donate £3.50.

Officially the best way to while away a long coach / train journey to Wembley. ‘Away The Gas’ let’s you wallow in over 50 years of ‘I was there’ moments, from Halifax Town in 1963 and Wembley [three times], to Pompey in 2014, and recalls why we cherish away days so much. Full details are on the website - www.awaythegas.org.uk - including a good look inside the book (cover pages, contents, introduction, 3 photo pages, and 9 text pages). £9.99 Mail OrderAvailable direct from me at www.awaythegas.org.ukIf you really prefer to buy via Amazon or eBay, it is there, but it will just be me sending it you to anyway. As promised above it is now June, so ATG is now the perfect Father's Day present [Sunday 21st June] £9.99, including UK delivery, for people with Fathers everywhere - shellshockpublishing.bigcartel.com/ Sadly my own father died 23 years ago, so as I don't have a father to give one to, I will give a free copy to one fortunate person on this forum who thinks they have a really deserving father, and can't really afford to buy him one. PM me, and tell me why your Dad is so great, and might like one [by 11pm on Wednesday 3rd June]

Hello, My daddy is ace but I can't afford to buy him a book because I'm only six. Last week I asked for Dominoes Pizza for tea. My daddy said I could go there if I could spell it. So I said "f**k that, we'll go to KFC instead". Anyway, send me a book. From Hugo the Younger.

Thank you, and thank you yet again to the 4O or so contributors. My father was almost killed in Cyprus [National Service, a.k.a. National Wounding Service]. Thankfully all you did there was murder a good book.
