Kosovo played well very refreshing as it was an entertaining game, our front 3 are excellent but we need two new centre halves and Ben chilwell s crossing reminded me of Leads 😂
Fixed that for you.

Entertaining game and I did find myself cheering the Kosovan 2nd and 3rd goals. Wonder what sort of pay they're on? I would have thought any of their midfield could walk into the Rovers side at the moment (if we could afford them). On a separate note I will now compile a list of European countries that appear to actually 'like' England. Kosovo.

Amazing how far Kosovo have come in such a short time. And that after 2018 our expectations are so high we have a national meltdown after a 5-3 win two days after a 5-0 win!

Papers giving high marks to Sancho like 8.5s and 9s? yes he took a goal well and was allowed an offside second but over all did not see what all the fuss is about ... yet? a 6 from me plus .5 for a goal.

Doesn't all football come under the FIFA umbrella ? For some reason I always thought it did. VAR should either be ALL in or ALL out. Ah well, that's bureaucracy for you. But as the original poster said, 'Well done' to Kosovo. At least they played football instead of amateur dramatics! The Commentators said it wasn't being used in the group stages, but will be used for the knockout stages next Summer. Because it's not practical- if you have it for one game you need to have it for all qualifiers, can you imagine a VAR setup in Andorra's stadium? Or Kosovo's for that matter? The finals will have VAR because those games will be played in modern 20k+ stadiums.

Nothing to do with Rovers I know but just wanted a shout out for Kosovo last night! thought there attitude, and approach was brilliant, very skilful and despite being 5-1 down at half time(undeservedly)never gave in and tried to play there way back into the game which they did, would loved to have seen them get a fourth to make it really interesting(no, I am not Jock in disguise!) good job no VAR last night else with all the dodgy decisions would have been playing till midnight! how could lino not see Sancho 2 yards offside when he was right in line!!the players though appealed mildly and got on with game, Managers protests were entertaining though! hope they go on to qualify, now I am off to learn Kosovonian so I can write to Kosovo evening post offering my congratulations on there teams performance! How come the lino could not see the keeper was not on the line for the penalty. Thought England were very good, plenty of pace going forward, created lots of chances, tremendous. Kosovo were good going forward, but playing like that will generally lose particularly against the stronger sides 5-3.

Who wants VAR? Who cares if somebody is .001 or a nose offside The game has managed to survive well over a 100 years without it and better for it. It just slows everything down and ruins it for the spectator when they have to wait. Goal line technology was all that was ever required but FIFA have to muck about with everything and anything they touch generally makes the game worse for the paying spectators exactly the same as Sky.Money only goes to the top clubs and yet it amazes me that you would never believe it looking at how poor Manchester United are with players who would not be fit to lace the boots of past players. Not a fan of VAR but when officials are so blatantly incompetent as last night , I mean the offside was not millimetres it was Metres! or Marty Feldman's nose! and gives ammo to those in favour of it. I'd say I'm neither a fan of VAR, but I have to admit, I'd probably fall into the camp of "depends if it's a decision for us or against us"!!!!

When they showed the replay of Sancho scoring, he was level with ball when Sterling kicked it so was onside according to them. They should have had one sent off second half for an awful challenge on one of the young un's, can't recall his name. It's funny but i also wanted them to get fourth too.
