Is anyone actually driving this bus? It’s been a long, long journey so we should probably take it in turns. Can we have a positive, happy driver that knows where they are going? I will drive the bus and promise to stay soberish. I'm going straight to the Nou Camp via Trashton, Elland Road, Old Trafford et al and everyone is welcome.

All good fun and everything and I’m always optimistic but wait for 10 matches was always the guide before getting too happy or too depressed. A fairish start, points wise but a long way to go yet. I reckon we are where we should be and tbh would be happy to be here in May. UTG!

Oh Holy Mother of God here we go again! As soon as we win a couple of games 🤮🤮🤮 You been here when we lose a couple of games? Yep, unlike some people I'm here whether we win, lose or draw, and I comment on various subjects irrespective of how we are doing rather than trotting out literally the same thing ad nauseum when we win a couple of games then disappear for months on end when things get a bit tough and I can't peddle my pet theory because we ain't winning.

You been here when we lose a couple of games? I've never known a fan base as ours does, to go from one extreme to another after every win or loss. We are so fickle its unbelievable. Agreed. But thats because we are a very big,but small club. We have a huge potential fanbase, thats from one of the UKs biggest cities, yet have a L2 league stadium and infrastructure. I think GC is doing a fine job.In fact, given more money I think he could take us up to the Championship. His signing thus far have been 8/10? And look at His win record..? Look padt his late 1990's haircut..

All fan bases the same. On radio bris yesterday a yeovil fan rang in and said, "it was just like watching brazil and im not joking". I burst into lauughter and then turned it off.

Yes Rich! Saw the title and knew what this was about! I'll have a ticket to the top ten to start with! Also depends who's organising the bus 🙈 Got to be the Vengaboys, surely 😂

And I didn't look (much) like Doughnut then. That small clip really cheered me up. That takes me back to times where I was truly happy but it seems like it really is another person viewing it now. I had no idea there was a DVD so thanks for that bit of information. I was chuffed to bits to get a Tiswas DVD as a Xmas present.

Every team has the if’s and’s & but’s with every game they play, but here’s ours for the last 2 weeks... IF we had seen out the Accrington game as we should’ve AND taken the win away at Burton as our dominating performance deserved....we’d currently be top of the league

We're closer to the Championship at this stage of the season than we have been for what.....19 years?
It just doesn't feel like it though, to me anyway. I just can't see GC taking us to the playoffs. The football seems too dull, and we rely on JCH far too much.
Just my opinion.

As for JCH being our saviour, it's a team effort and he's doing exactly what we pay him to do. Either way, at least we're not in a relegation scrap already which can only be good.

I think your right, weve had an average start with 3 wins and 3 defeats, were 2 points off the play offs but it’s very early days. From what I’ve seen so far from league 1 we lack the creativity and pace of the majority of the sides we’ve played but we’re hard to break down and have a big strong forward who’s been in the form of his life. If we can keep him all season then I think we’ll finish between 6th and 12th if we lose him in jan it’ll be somewhere between 12th - 18th. Cogs has built a decent side in terms of grinding out wins and draws to keep us out of the drop zone but to make top 6 and win promotion you need more than that I reckon. Personally I think we’re at least 3 quality players short of winning promotion through automatic or probably even making the play offs.

We’d probably get relegated in the first or second season but we’d all love to see us in the championship again wouldn’t we ? To do it with our budget , facilities would be an incredible achievement, possibly even better than what Gerry Francis achieved because the gulf between the divisions is bigger than it was then in my opinion. I can’t see it happening but clubs our size do occasionally do it .
