The owners continue to disappoint. The stadium ain't happening. GC is hard to love. GC's football is hard to love. But despite all the negatives, we are somehow in the mix, and who knows? Aren't limericks supposed to rhyme? My first attempt was even worse.

I've never known a fan base as ours does, to go from one extreme to another after every win or loss. We are so fickle its unbelievable. Read any other lower league forum and you will see we are no different to them Agree. Reading the Bolton forum was really funny. They were nervous about what the EFL were going to do, then when they appeared to get away with it they were triumphant and even talking about the play offs. When the appeal came in and after getting tanked by Accrington they are angry again. The only common thing appeared to be they were telling all fans, all clubs, the EFL and everyone else to **** off. Apparently it’s nothing to do with any other League 1 club.😉 Comedy gold! UTG!

There are so many teams who are all much of a muchness. This has to be our best chance in 20 years to get into the championship. Keep up with the chasing pack and you just never know.

Ipswich host Wycombe tomorrow night 1-0 to wycombe courtesy of a 90+8 minute OG
lump on
Got to give Wycombe some respect even if I dislike them intensely. I thought it was just a short term blip but they are carrying on doing well.

They sound as entertaining as they were when they came to the Men last year.

They seem to be having a total melt down with fans already singing "sacked in the morning" to Parkinson!! Ipswich's home form is poor as well having won only one league game now in 6 games! Apart from Pompey starting to come to life a bit the top 6/top 3 is still totally wide open.

Maybe we could learn something from them?

As I’ve stated many a time on this forum, I do not care a jot how we play, so long as I’m walking out of the ground (home or away) with at least a point.

Maybe we could learn something from them? Have you checked their forum to see? Although if they are top I assume they've won a few more home games than us this season, we've managed just 2 league/FA Cup wins in 3 whole months with the last win being on the 12 Oct!!!

Can't imagine I need to check whether Wycombe fans are kicking off at their dire football despite being top. Perhaps football fans just now want to watch Premiership football on Sky as here's a couple of recent posts from their forum, they almost mirror Gaschat! "Top of the league by 5 points. League 1 , the highest position , we have ever been in our history.Better quality players. Stronger squad. Enhanced match day experience. And still we are struggling to extra punters through the door. What more do people want? Not sure how we are ever going to be a financial sustainable club and compete at this level and in our dreams the next level, without increasing our debt. Clearly we are improving and increasing our sponsorship deals but will it be enough. Cup runs help. Shows what a disaster it was to lose to Tranmere. Couhigs must be pulling their hair( if Rob had any) to understand why more of local community have not come on board. Or do we have to come to terms that 4500-5000 is our crowd and plan around that budget?" "To be honest if you aren't coming to games regularly now I'm not sure what can make you. At half time yesterday a walk in the concourse made me realise how many who go are missing the whole essence of what is going on with this great group of players. Almost every person I have overheard were moaning about now poor we were and how rubbish the game was. What are these people expecting??? For me rather than actually fight to get more fans in just let it happen. Those not going are missing out massively"
