All I can say is just get behind him. We started every season badly under him and you've had a lot of change during the summer. The stats didn't look that bad yesterday in your game. I seen a few of your fans underwhelmed with signing Gaffney, he's a good addition for you. I didn't want us to lose him in L1 as he was a good 2nd/3rd choice striker for us but Salford obviously offered more money than we were paying (rumour was £3k a week), he's hard working andhis biggest strength is running the channels and bringing others into play. SS and JC are good honest pros too. Sounds like you just need some quality to go with that hard work. I'm sure I speak for most Rovers fans in saying I hope he can turn it around and be successful with you. Boom SS scores! G'wan on Stuart and Darrell! Why don’t you just go and support Walsall? In case you haven’t noticed, they’ve gone move on!

Most managers can organise a side, but it's getting a goal scoring striker that's the difficult bit. DC would be ok back here with JCH and GC would be poor without him imo. Yes, but DC watered 200k plus on Payne and GC got JCH for nothing AND, before you say anything else, both managers had Widdrington at the club. Widdrington recommended JCH on the back of a poor season. Think he got like 4 goals in League 2. Payne had finished top goalscorer for the team who finished 3rd in League 1.

Just like I noticed what a wonderful job they did for our football club and were part of bringing it back of it's knees. So I will make no apologies for wanting them to do well. If that wateres you off then so be it.

Why don't we say move on to the people continuously bashing him? Instead, we say move on to people who want them to do well.

And Taylor was fourth choice striker at non league Forest Green. He got rovers back , and saved us from years of non league football. The rest is history. The end. Yeah I meant that as a positive. DC brought players in from non league and they turned in to league 1 players .

I haven’t posted on this thread (until this page) I just feel it’s time to move on now and support GC as he is now in charge, it’s no good living in the past it’s all done & dusted. And we have an honest bunch of lads 😁

These threads on DC will always pop up though, how many times did bloody David Pipe WYHHB threads keep popping up? 😂

Technically nothing but, as Mark Robins was quoted, was given a life changing contract plus a signing fee

Why oh Why are we still talking about Darrel Clarke? He left us months ago and I fail to see why he is still under discussion. He did us proud but he's now left us just like Bert Tann,Don Megson,Fred Ford and many others. Time to move on me thinks.

Should Man Utd fans stop talking about Sir Alex Ferguson now, just because he's no longer manager?

And with regards to Fergusson I don't believe many do talk about him any more.

I liked Darrell he was great but I’ve now moved on, but if GGMI wants to lick his arse for the rest of eternity then that’s his prerogative.
