Sounds like he dealt with it the right way. Good on him, hope the supporter wound his neck in.

Just cannot understand why you'd travel all the way to Shropshire just to hurl abuse at the team. On the internet, or between your mates at a normal volume is fine but it wateres me off seeing fat old dudes screaming things like "GO TO HIM THEN YOU lady gardens" at professional athletes like it's going to help. Well played Darrell.

DC indicated the fan was complaining about the lack of promised new signings, but DC indicates he does not want to sign the wrong man and it is difficult to get the right one in in November. Very well handled.

You wouldn't think we were fourth in the table, would you?

Stood next to this Guy first half and saw him confront DC.Was stood next to him with my wife and Grand -Children and asked him to stop swearing but although he was a genuine fan his behaviour and threats were awful. We moved second half and I did see him confront DC.Anyway second half moved away from his constant barrage and ended up with KYLE THOMAS (Seville Gas) and his family. This Guy will have a heart attack if he continues like this .DC shook his hand and dealt with it very well. The Guy in Question very fervent ,in his fifties but unaware of the kids and women around him.

Sounds like a tosser to me. We're doing alright , only one defeat in ages and in the play off places. Anyone shouting abuse at our players or manager needs a check up from the neck up. They clearly care about our club and are doing their best and while it's obvious that we haven't got lots of quality this tosser needs to wake up pull his head out of his arse and decide if he's going to support Bristol Rovers or fu#k off.

This is the same chap who was moaning about Tom Parkes at Dorchester and I believe Lee Mansell as well in the same game. In fact he moans every game and NEVER gets behind the team. I just wonder why he wastes his money and whether he realises that he is supposed to SUPPORT the team. His constant moaning and criticising is no use whatsoever and is not pleasant for those anywhere near him.

Today we could have easily lost 1-0 but we won 1-0 . These games away from home against the little clubs who are struggling are the toughest games of all and we will almost certainly lose more of them before the seasons out. Great result today. Calling them sh**ty little tin pot clubs is so far off the mark in my opinion . These are ambitious small clubs that are run exceptionally well and they have really achieved great things to get to where they are and they haven't done that by underestimating their opposition or underestimating themeselves . In comparison we are a big club with far more money than they have but have been but never should have been run like a tin pot club for far too long. Results like today are a massive step on the right direction for our club because for far too long we have been like lambs to the slaughter when playing against these so called Tin pot clubs . Last season defeats against the likes of Accers and this season defeats against Braintree prove that attitudes of we're much better and bigger than you will ultimately end in disappointment and frustration. We are in the conference because we were too sh** for league 2 and Telford are in the conference because they were too good for the conference north. Yes we haven't got great players but I really like the fact that Darrell Clarke is getting good things out of what he's got available. UTG !

You can only beat what's in front of you. There is only ever 3 points at stake. We beat them. We took all the points. Job done and you cant say fairer than that.

I would have thought, that by now, having been around the lower leagues for long enough, that people would have realised the football aint always gonna be pretty. Yes, would be amazing to see silky skills, free flowing moves and `charge` all the time, but the simple fact is, you have to win ugly.
I`ll take that, thanks. Another three points......UTG!!

Kudos DC, Plenty of fans out there like this, myself included. We don't know the full story and the success of this club prob means more to us than it actually should ( in the grand scheme of things). Big ups to the Perp as well, took the reality check on the chin. We all want the same thing. Well handled

The middle aged bloke sounded a nutter to me, probably the loudest & most abusive I've ever come across in watching football. Interesting the "confrontation", or quiet chat, came just after he even abused the Telford reserve goalie warming up at half time with their coach, screaming at him to bizarrely "F off to the other goal"

Sounds as if the guy was unstable.
DC impresses me. A very consistent, level-headed manager.

Fair play DC, wondered what that was, fan seemed to take it on the chin and there wasn't an argument DC punched him? It was almost if they'd spoke in the past rather than it being a confrontation, the way they approached each other. I assume this guy isn't also the Dartford goalie abuser, or do we have more than one maniac now following Rovers?
