I have to agree with you about Ollie Clarke, SteveK and did fear the worst. I am less confident of scoring without JCH in the team even more so with Clarke as the creative player. I couldn't see us scoring more than 1 goal with that line up, so missing the penalty and going 1 behind was very frustrating and felt a massive uphill task. Nichols and Smith are no good as a pairing unless we are going to play pretty football. Which under GC we're not. Especially with Ollie Clarke as the creative force, the bloke couldn't pass wind. By "pretty football" do you mean getting the ball down and passing to your own players feet? I would just call that "football". How would you describe Ollie Clarke then? Because by your definition, a footballer he ain`t.

Strange opening comments that the keeper kept the score down from 6 to 2. Yet only the missed pen was the difference? I wasn’t there but it can’t be both.

You obviously don't agree with what every football pundit in the land always says. "If they had gone one up, it would have been a different game". That is clear to me what Stevek is meaning.

Wasn't he really just making sure he was having a go at Nichols in the title? Make sure you stick the knife in properly, right? Eg, after his pen miss against Pompey he merely praised JCH's confidence for taking the penalty. Also, let's not pretend predicting the future makes an objective truth just coz all the pundits say stuff.

Because by your definition, a footballer he ain`t. Im not a fan of ollie but he likes a tackle and his shooting has got us some goals. He frustrates me because his passing is so poor but who could deny the fact that he has played in 2 promotions and i imagine over 100 league one games.
