Good luck

As a matter of interest when did Rovers start to sell replica shirts?

At a guess I’d say late 70’s early 80’s

I had a Bukta top from the 79/80 season so must be prior to 79.

Could be one in a charity shop for a quid. Every home shirt has been nice. A couple of dodgy away ones tbh.

Just read thread, I've gone straight to the loft and found 6 90s shirts. Are they actually worth that much? I hAve 5 Spall including the green and yellow, the 91 shirts home and away with3rd div champions on it a Le Coq with elite hampers and home and away from 89/90 (I think)

Original shirts from the 90s cost loads now. I just wish i would have kept all mine. As each new kit came out i chucked the old one. Done the same with AC Milan ones too.

As a matter of interest when did Rovers start to sell replica shirts? I had a replica 73-74 shirt at the time. Pretty sure it was bought from Doug Hillard's and not the Supporters Club shop. Of course this was basic quarters and unbranded.

I can remember being a kid wanting a Rovers shirt for Christmas and asking my dad why Rovers didn't sell them. He replied bemused as to why a fan would want to buy one. Amazing how times have changed. The Bukta shirt is the earliest I have.
