Ellis Harrison's miss at the beginning - what was that ? I think it must have been some form of modern dance.

After seeing these highlights can't believe what a chance that was for Ellis. What he did looked like something you'd try when having a kick around down the park Exactly ! I sometimes think the word professional footballer used about some of these players breaks the trade description act ! So he scores a hattrick last week and everyone is screaming for Ellis to start - the next week he isn't good enough to be considered a professional footballer. Make your bloody mind up.

Footballers do silly things sometimes, same as the rest of us at work. Got to judge them over time. We won anyway, so a good time to muck up.

Fetch calm down. I wasn't just referring to Harrison but also some of the other players at Rovers and elsewhere. They are physically fit, strong, some of them are massive brutes, but their ability with the ball - where is it ? Ellis looks great but half the time he struggles even to get the ball under control ! I wish I could get excited about Rovers this season after all the sh** of the last 4/5 seasons but I can't. It's partly due to where we are now but do you honestly get excited about our players ? The forward line struggle to hit a shot on target even when they are clean through on goal; there's hardly any footy on the deck, most passes go astray, no-one wants to put their foot on the ball. But when our manager just keeps using the word TOUGH in every interview fifty times and never says anything about "this is the way Rovers are going to play " then I guess we have to pray for the wins and bear it all. I'm waiting for the signings and a change to more attractive football before I start going to Rovers every match with my kid again. Enjoy the scrap !

Wasn't trying to single you out mate, just frustrates me how fans can go from thinking a player is too good for our club to being not good enough in the space of a week. We really are a fickle bunch. I do get what you mean though, sometimes our players overthink things and overlook the simple. I think most of us could have got Taylor's chance against Forest Green on target, at least.

It may not be pretty all the time but it's effective. We're in the playoffs so it's far more exciting than anything else we've seen for years.
