I find it sad that at the time of writing this 11 out of 96 participants (11.5%) think that the club will be in administration and a good deal more think we will still be at the mem, arguably the worst ground in terms of facilities in the football league. If that doesn’t capture the feeling of disillusionment around the club and decline of faith in the Al Qadi’s then I don’t know what does. Sadly as much as I want to be positive and think that we will move to a new stadium in the not too distant future, I only find myself agreeing with the majority on this.

Very interesting voting so far. It seems only a small minority have any faith in our chances of moving on.
What a difference a few years can make.
I suppose the poll might have been hijacked by Offensive who don't sit in executive boxes and have a hotline to the corridors of power.

The whole purpose of me starting this vote is to bring to our owners attention (who i know read this and other forums) the true feeling of the supporters about the current situation. Lets hope they are listening to us (Which i doubt very much)

I took my wife along to her first game at the Mem a couple of years ago. She’s from a family of Sheff Weds fans. When we arrived at the ground, she genuinely asked where the rest of the stadium was.
When you look back at the stadium in the days of Roberts and Cureton, you can see how far we have come. Nowhere.

Bad news- We will Good news- Established in the Championship. Millions of miles off being able to compete in Championship Not at all. Even though there is massive money in the 2nd tier it only needs a regular goalscorer, A good manager and some luck and there you go. Some smaller teams than us have been in and indeed, Are there now. In fact all things being equal, We are bigger than Bournemouth. Look where they are. Aim high my fellow fan.

If you see a Russian Oligarth walking up Gloucester Road with a rucksack full of moody money, then I reckon we could have another Bournemouth on our hands.

Until more money is made available to transform the playing/training facilities with a commitment to radically improve the squad, I'm afraid that Rovers will struggle to reach the Championship let alone be competitive in it.
For example, is there one Championship club with worse playing facilities than us? In addition, is there one player (with the exception of JCH and the goalkeeper) who is currently Championship calibrate?

Yes, but it’ll be a 30,000 modern super stadium with babe station shown on every screen around the ground.

I'd rather be at the Mem than Twerton Park, despite the good years at Twerton it was not on Bristol soil' the Mem holds fond memories for me as did Twerton. Twerton 0-1 Mem

Serious question, why did the Mem redevelopment which incorporated blocks of student accommodation fall through? Only asking because on the local news both Bristol University & the UWE are having massive problems finding suitable accommodation for the new intake of students, just wondering if the dynamics have changed & it might be worth looking again at that development. The official reason was that Opal Property Group (the company funding the student accommodation) pulled out due to the credit crunch and a replacement couldn't be found.
