So if Hamer was the one undermining Wael, feeding the fan base and the press, but now Hamers the bad guy, does that mean Wael’s actually alright? I am hoping there are more to follow, Wael and the Al Qadis rarely even attend games. Would love another takeover.

Can you imagine if we were owned by developers, with share holders and investors to answer to? You think the Mem would still be our Ground, or flats by now?

I can tell Wael attends every game when he’s in the UK or when he’s not looking after his poorly father. He’s in the box next to me and I think he’s only missed about 3 league games this season.

I understand your sentiment, in the same vein, there are a lots of big clubs not owned by football lovers. I like football so do you, could I run a business putting millions into it, no. Don't believe the next lot if there is anyone, has to have been in football before, bring in someone that does know and genuinely shows some enthusiasm for the club.

Heard that since I can remember. Still paying our players aren't we? Not being chucked out of the Mem yet? No ones heard anything about us going to the wall have they? Heard anything, anything at all about who our potential new owners are? Nor me. We won't whither and die, that's just rubbish.

That is a pretty brutal statement to be honest. Very short but it says so much. UTG!

So we just need new owners with £50m/£100m to spend on a new stadia etc, unless the latest Euromillions winner is a Gashead then just how easy is it going to be finding one of those?

You don't think Wael shows enthusiasm for the Club? I don't think he can deliver anything more than what we have. If he has hit the ceiling then that is it. Yeah he has watched a few games, done his best, but still not really good enough. Our best chances are a takeover, or someone with some cash who is allowed to spend it, actually comes in and let Wael keep a small percentage at best, IMO.

Serious question. Why? As someone not in the know and unlikely ever to be why is it felt to be “happy days” now that SH has gone. Apart from perhaps freeing up a salary which may or may not be put into the playing budget I’m unaware of why it’s meant to be so good. Not saying you’re both wrong but instead of one word riddles could you explain why it’s “happy days” that Hamer’s gone. UTG!

I very much doubt the owners are sitting on their hands. They know the reality of the situation better than any of us, as it's their millions that have been spent. I would imagine they're trying their hardest to engineer a solution, whether that's to pass the debt onto someone else or actually hand this over to a group who can give this club a future is yet to be seen.

Well given that was the person who drove him out of the club there is certainly no love lost there I cant believe I'm defending Hamer on anything, but wasnt IHs departure more slightly self inflicted? Made to look like suicide in some ways....

Na Go bust and reform as AFC Bristol Rovers run by the fans you will then get your chance to run the club
