It is interesting to see the various views on what players and what positions we need to strengthen in the January window. Perhaps, more importantly, is how much Wael has available to spend? That's obviously a question us mere mortals can never answer but at least we can discuss something football related, something you seem totally incapable of doing of late.

I think how much we have available to spend in January determines what players we can afford to bring into the squad which in turn affects how the team do on the pitch which I consider 'football related'. I imagine when Tommy is looking for players he asks 'how much have we got available to spend boss' so that he knows where and what to look at?

Not that I want to see him go & I’m sure I’ll be alone in this, but if we receive a £2m+ offer for JCH early in the window then I think we should seriously consider accepting it. Any club interested in purchasing him will have had scouted him extensively during his time here, and probably noticed that the lad hasn’t been fully fit for about... 8/9 months? GC jokingly said himself before the Plymouth match “is Jonno ever 100% fit?!” That’s going to make clubs cautious to come in with really big offers, IMO. So if GC were promised 30-50%+ of any fee we received for the transfer kitty, then I’d feel confident he & Widdrington could do some damage with that kind of money behind them in January and the summer - not just for replacing JCH, but improving the squad overall. As for my priorities for January, my top 3 (in order) would be: 1. Creative #8 2. Striker 3. CB i personally think he will be off. you could see on sunday hes frustrated at the poor level of players around him. The lead up to the goal he was begging for some movement. different class

I predict we will sell JCH for pittance and struggle to bring any players in, 1 or 2 loans maybe.

Any money gained will be used by the AQ's to offset the losses, with Widdrington told to repeat the act and get a good striker in for nothing. The AQ's will think he's done it once, so do it again.

Let me explain this for you, as it seems to be a bit difficult for you. I am from Bristol. I live in Bratislava. To break that down even simpler for you, it means I left Bristol (in 2015) and I moved to Bratislava. Does that make sense to you? There are a few others on here such as your best buddy swissgas, nobby, Qatargas, Francegas etc who also live abroad. Speaking of lies: you posted numerous times about takeovers - were they lies? And as usual, you've ignored another of my questions (do you understand what a question is either?), what would someone from Bratislava have to do with anything anyway? Or are you perhaps someone who looks down on anyone who's slavic? And for my final question, how much did Steve Hamer tell you Wael will spend? Looking forward to your reply.

I found this interesting that TW is taking the credit for JCH. I thought it was actually GC's signing? I swore I read an article that JCH had an offer from Sunderland & someone else, so he text GC on what his opinion was - as soon as GC found out he was available, he said come to Rovers - and he did. Stand to be corrected though

Shame for Bennett. The managers tactics are to keep it as defensive and tight as possible, so the only way he will get on is if we are chasing when a couple of goals down. I am sure with a run of games he can help unlock and be creative, but it wont be with us under GC. Shame we ever signed him more like! And a shame we ever gave him that 8 grand per week wages (or was it 10?) 😀

Will be a hard sell to any creative midfield players or wingers. "look sonny you wont be playing because i don't like you wimpy wingers and creative midfield players but sign for us anyway" If rodman who is a decent wide player cannot get into this team then there is no point in any winger coming here. And chris lines is still a better footballer than any other midfield player at our club right now. Opinion of course. I guess that depends on what you class as a "footballer" one who can pass a ball 100 yards but goes missing for 75% of a game or one who plays 100% the the whole game? We seem to be more effective with the latter this season than the former last season. Assuming GC intends sticking with wing backs when we really need a bit more creativity in midfield, also back up for Little at RWB if Hare is going to be out 'til Easter. moving out Nichols & Bennett has to be a priority then replacing the former with an experienced striker. Lines hardly played last season,he had personal problems and later coughlan wouldn't pick him.

As for Bratislava, I cannot comment because I have never been there, and I guess it makes for watching the Rovers difficult? You say I have ignored another of your questions, I am unaware that you have asked me any - try again and if I can answer, I will. Priority for me would be to get Bennett off the wage bill ideally Nicholls too but the latter is a favourite of the Manager so probably not realistic. Attacking Midfielder is up there and indeed a striker. I actually think JCH might stay …. Not sure if clubs will take a gamble on his fitness unless they get him really cheap. Ivan Toney / Mo Eisa surely would be better targets for a Championship team but sadly their Club push a hard bargain and make fortunes from selling making them less attractive potentially. Shame for Bennett. The managers tactics are to keep it as defensive and tight as possible, so the only way he will get on is if we are chasing when a couple of goals down. I am sure with a run of games he can help unlock and be creative, but it wont be with us under GC. Bennett isn't good nough for L1. Goes missing in games, flatters to dcieve and is inconsistent in front of goal. I so wanted him to be Billy's replacement but he hasn't even come close. Pompey we're delighted to move him and his big salary on, if only we could do the same. Nicholls will go nowhere I'm afraid. He will stay here and pick up his money to the bitter end, then negotiate a free to a L2/top Conference team for 1500 - 2000 a week. Nice work if you can get it.

My apologies if I have offended you, however, why on earth would you suddenly assume I'm lying about where I live - when you simply misunderstood? A bit aggressive yourself, no?
