Forgetting the GC stuff that came later, that was an exceptional performance by Rovers. We got a bit lucky when they missed from about 2 feet our in the opening minute of the second half, but apart from that we defended superbly, and created several half chances. But what was really great was the fans getting behind the team throughout - it makes a significant difference on the pitch and encourages players to give 110% throughout. Most enjoyable away performance for a long while for me - lets hope we can keep the momentum going throughout Christmas and New Year, whoever the manager is.

By owners with a small fraction of the wealth that ours supposedly possess. Fair play to the Radford's, built a new training ground and put their money where there mouth is. If he has been offered more money to manage a club nearer the family home I can understand his desire to go. However, if he had continued his work at Rovers for the rest of the season it's very likely he could have ended up at a much bigger club than Mansfield. Thats why i think there is more to it.

But it seemed that the fourth official was involved. Anyway he was a crap ref from start to finish. Stevek Great Analysis of the game. Were you standing next to me by any chance? I saw it just like you did. Ref was terrible and seemed to be a poser as well as 95% home ref? As for GC, I would never criticise him because of what he has done for us. For him to think of going to a lower league club with a smaller fan base seems illogical? Especially as we are on the up and the Stags are staggering? Therefore it must be a difficult decision and he is putting family first? Will he be getting more money; does not matter as most of us do not move jobs for less money when in our prime? Rollin was our MoM with Jakkola. Both have been superb in the games played. We also have a very good no. 2 goalie. i think the GC move news probably started around the Orient game; there were several reasons why and if you were there at the game near the dugout you may agree? PS Orient game; did anyone else think Orient went 2-1 up in 1st half when ball went through net at bottom of East Terrace post? 4 of us standing by East Terrace tent all thought so at the time to the point where we asked one of the groundsman to check it at 1/2 time. He checked it twice, then and again on restart but nothing. If one looks at this section of the net, it looks different to the rest of the net; as if it has been stitched and repaired?
