What price does everyone really expect for JCH? I can’t remember a big price received for one of our players in a long time? Clubs use and abuse us as they know we haven’t got much money and we’re desperate for funds so go very low

What price does everyone really expect for JCH? I can’t remember a big price received for one our players in a long time ? It's very sad that we have to be resigned to losing him when we are on such a good run - I think Starnes could've said - he's going nowhere this season and we are going to do everything to stay in the top 6. Instead he's telling everyone - every player has his price and such and such a club are showing an interest. Whatever we get for him (600, 700, 800K !?) we know very little of it will be invested back in the playing budget.

£500-£750k realistically if paid in full with a question mark over fitness issues & a relatively short period of success, could rise with game time related payments?

Harrison was 700 grand so jch I bet will be about the same price EH wasn't injury prone? It's getting to the point lately where JCH is now out injured more than he plays, which seemed to be similar when he was at Coventry. Unless he's forewarned potential buyers that he'll be taking it easy leading up to January you do wonder who'll take a chance on a player who missing around 50% of the time.

I wouldn’t accept a penny under £1.5m with 20% sell on of clause on price (not profit)

Our board are clueless, always short term decisions. If, with JCHs help, we got into the championship the value of the club they apparently want to sell would soar. Cashing in on him now right in the middle of being out with injuries is a ridiculous piece of business.

Cashing in on him now right in the middle of being out with injuries is a ridiculous piece of business. So clueless they made the financial deal to bring him here in the first place? Unfortunately, it's a money business and if someone comes in with a pot load of money for him, he'll go. And I wouldn't blame him or the Club for that.

If we aren’t singing anyone with money then we need to be first in for the cream of loans available which we always end up signing panic buys on the last day.
Bennett needs to go Mathews needs to go when fit Mensah needs to go Depending on who is available to our budget Nichols needs to go

Bennett (if possible) and send Adeboyejo back. Bring in Callum Roberts (Blyth Spartans) and any of Folarin Balogun (Arsenal), Ryan Edmundson (Leeds), Adam Idah (Norwich), Ryan Cassidy (Watford) or Jamie Soule (West Brom) on loan. Do you watch any of the Premier League 2? I never get to watch any but try and follow a bit of it. That Balogun’s been going well this season, a few West Ham lads seem to be on fire as well.

Watch a fair bit. Arsenal's Balogun is quality. Pacey and direct with a decent finish. West Ham always produce some decent players. West Brom produce some quality players too. Lost Louie Barry to Barcelona in the summer and also Morgan Rogers to Man City. Kyle Edwards and Nathan Ferguson in or around the WBA first team and Sam Field waiting in the wings, with others like Jamie Soule, Rayhaan Tulloch and Jovan Malcolm highly promising.

Sounds like a good set up they’ve got there. Aaron Connolly was one I’d have liked us to go for in the summer as he never really got a run in the Luton side last year. Scored against for Brighton’s u23s in the Trophy and has since broke into their first team unfortunately. You seen anything of Danny Loader, got a great record at u23 level and has had a few minutes off the bench for Reading 1st team this season but not enough for them to warrant them keeping him rather than loaning him out I wouldn’t have thought. Thought he might be one worth trying given the relatively small mileage from there to Bristol.

I know another one you’ve mentioned before was Tyrese Campbell. Thought we’d have no chance of getting him on loan earlier in the season because he was playing for Stoke every week but not had any minutes since the start of November so might be worth an enquiry in January.
