Now wrapped in cotton wool and probably played his last game for us. Sell JCH in January and you sell most of our hopes of challenging for promotion to the championship along with it and I can bet that a spot in the championship would be more financial lucrative than the fee we'd get for JCH too. To give the squad as a whole credit JCH has missed a lot of games yet still we sit 4th. If we can replace him with a half decent player then it’s not all over.

No certainly, as seen in the Rochdale and Ipswich games the rest of the squad has coped well without him. It just echoes of the 2016/17 season when we lost Taylor in January, failed to replace him and just fell short afterwards, hope I'm wrong.

Interviews "Interviews to start this week, Starnes confirms, with him, the head of recruitment and Wael Al Qadi conducting those interviews." Via Skype? Via fax knowing Rovers

Internal appointment on the cheap then. Not saying that's bad or good but I'd put money on it. Lee Mansell and Chris Hargreaves to see us through the gap between now and the appointment of a new Gaffer.
Sad that he has gone in this way; but some blame needs to be levelled at the "haters" in my opinion

I've said before, carry on like this and pretty soon we'll have the kit man as manager......unless Wael is taking his Coaching Badges?

Exactly. Wonder who they will send out today? Because now GC has made his decision. They did the interview, when they knew what was happening. As it should have been all the time. He had made his decision on Saturday- he knew we had rejected offers and said what he did to force the move through, pure and simple.

When Wael asks how they will take the club forward they just have to reply, "Well Wael, I believe in Evolution not Revolution as you know, these things take time"...........the contract will be on the desk in the blink of an eye !

Under FFP does a player manager count as a player ? If not make Bennett (allegedly) manager and give his playing wages to JCH.

He had, but Rovers had to agree a position, compensation etc etc with him and Mansfield before an official announcement could be made. To put the CEO or other Board member up yesterday before all that was done would have just, imo, fuelled speculation

Internal appointment on the cheap then. Not saying that's bad or good but I'd put money on it. The last two 'cheap' options did all right. 2 promtions and up to 4th in league one

He was taking to them yesterday. So pointless holding the press conference about the talks, until after. Did those 24 hours hurt that much?? Can we put the toys back in the pram now??

Then be explicit and tell the media there will be a press conference as soon as the situation is resolved and keep all questions re: the manager for then and don’t fire them at the goalkeeping coach.
