Yep, would absolutely love Ollie back. Some of the best football I’ve seen involved him either as player or manager

Surely he is it at the mem for every game as a gashead anyway. When you find him ask him why he never ever let us have a player on loan from every club he has managed. Just in case you genuinely don't know he was very unhappy about the way it ended in Jan 2001. He has since kept his distance from the club and also from the majority of events that took place at the club. To get to him you had to go through Ian Holtby. He moved back to the area last year (near Box, on the Somerset / Wiltshire border) and relationships thawed a bit.

Certainly the man to get us out of the playoffs like he did last time You mean the season when Dave Pritchard had the career-ending injury (thanks Lua Lua) and Ronnie Mauge broke his leg playing for Trinidad or someone? Both injuries came too late to bring in adequate replacements, so no wonder the season ended so badly. But don't let the truth get in the way of an Ollie bitchfest.

So he struggled with two injuries. How is he going to cope with 5 at one time.

Said it before, Ollie took the job too early first time around and as his first step into management. Didn’t do bad though and the football we played, never seen anything like it or since.
Gutted when he stood aside, but at that time I wanted him to go away, hone his trade, learn then return for the second coming later in life.
Later in life is now. Now could not possibly be a better time. Managers normally take over here when the club is a mess and league position is dire. We are anything but right now.
It’s time for the homecoming, the coronation and for us all to strap in for the ride.
Wael, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Ollie come home! UTG

Ollie if you are reading this forum stop and have a quick think
Did you win your amazing wife by waiting for her to call you?
Don't miss the opportunity before it's too late!!!
Up the gas my friend! From the only fan in Plymouth (was on holiday nearby) that wore his quarters with pride in a queue of Plymouth fans waiting for you to sign their books!

Ollie coming back almost guarantees play offs due to the feel good factor alone Instant respect from players, colleagues and fans Gate will be 10k Phone him!! I agree and think its a no brainer. Give him a 6 month contract.A budget to bring in 2/3 players (attacking wise) and go from there.Gates will return to 9k/10k and lets not forget that even without GC this side is 4th in L1 and a very decent L1 side.

I think this is right. You look at the list and it's not particularly exciting. Worth a punt on Ollie.

I reckon Ollie can get Tommy scoring and turn him into a gas legend.

Her we go, some of you just cannot leave things in the past. Gerry did more than Holloway and yet when he returned it was a disaster, and then after Holloway had told Zamora he wouldn't get a pay rise or a place in his team he was fortuitous to have GD who overspent on getting the players he wanted in. Then when it went horribly wrong and our main midfield general broke his ankle rather that get a replacement he got 2 kids in on loan. We didn't go up, players left and the new signings were crap, especially Jones the slowest CH I have ever seen, and he left us to go to York, where he didn't last very long. It's a NO to Holloway, and whatever colour blood he is bleeding at the moment. He has only been successful where he has had money to spend. We were £1.2 million in debt when he left us. A long time ago. I would rather have continuity that have Holloway come in and mess the team about, as he surely would.
And as for those slating GC off for leaving us when we were 4th in the league, Holloway left Plymouth when they were 4th in the league, and he had Green blood in his veins at the time
