If Dunne and Maeher are likely joining Coughlan tomorrow wtf are they in charge tonight, would it not have been better to Hargreaves and Manse as they will have to pick it up Saturday? ? That was my thoughts too.

Anyone who ever listens to talksport on a Sunday morning would be interested in the Culverhouse game if we appointed him Haha. I hope we are seriously considering him. He's an outstanding coach with great judgement, eye for a player and tactical brain. Do you know why he was dismissed from the post of assistant manager at Villa after an “internal investigation”?

Apparently he and another coach had upset Lambert and the owners.Had upset players on the training ground with his attitude cuminating in a major row in the dressing room after a defeat at Crystal Palace.

Jesus, bleak list. Does Ben Garner get linked with any other jobs or is it only us because of you pirate? I’ve heard good things about Cameron Toshack but too little experience at this point. Has to be Nathan Jones for me, but we would need to write off promotion imo. Also has to be a suspicion as to whether he could recreate his success at Luton given how he spectacularly failed to get Stoke to adapt to his methods. Toshack left Swansea last week for a job in Cyprus. Just shows how well researched some of these things are. Taking money for someone not even in the race. Yeah I had heard that and thought it was a bit odd. A sign of how Swansea are being run on a shoestring, like us, that they are dismantling their youth set up. Odd that he ended up at Pafos though, he must have an eye for a tan like his old man!

That was my thoughts too. Yeah it’s not great although maybe there was a desire for as much continuity as we can still get. I guess the clubs are still haggling over the paperwork for these two so for the time being they are still our employees and we should make use of them. It’ll probably be one game, 5-0, champagne football and they will bigger off!

Personally I'm keen for Trolls.
Hated at Cardiff but he clearly hoped Lambert would spearhead a charge and his body gave way.
I think hed get the good feeling back and is calmer than ollie.

Now that site have Tommy Widdrington 5/2 favourite and Mark Cooper 6/1 second favourite. It's a big no to both from me. I like coopers style of play personally.

What a grim, grim list. Almost miserable and grim like Mansfield.
Only one man I want from that list.
Come on home....

All I would say about any list is that the task of selecting a Manager is a very difficult one because either a person is completely untried as a Manager OR they have failed somewhere along the way!! That is the nature of the job that you will eventually be sacked!!!

I wonder what the odds on John Eustace would be? He's another that should be approached and interviewed if interested.
Learnt a lot from the likes of Sean Dyche, Tony Pulis, Gordon Strachan, Malcky Mackay, Steve McClaren, Nigel Clough and Paul Sturroch during his 500+ playing career appearances.
Back to back playoff finishes as manager at Kidderminster with 53.40 win % before being poached by Steve McClaren to be his assistant manager.

Big drop on the odds for Paul Heckingbottom, now joint favourite with Holloway & Widdrington at 4/1 on thesackrace, what would people's opinions on him be? Did very well at Barnsley, left for Leeds, was very poor but wasn't given enough time, then went to Hibs and was a bit poor.
