All i know is he's worth more to us than the pathetic £500k to £1 million I've seen quoted here. As for injuries, he played 46 games las season and 40 games the season before that! Yeah he’s only been injured a lot since we signed him it seems. That left calf problem. If he can get that sorted and stay with us until the end of the season then we could get 2+ mill for him but as it stands I can’t see us getting more than 1 million for him. Problem is he had an operation on it in the summer and then it went again pretty much straight away so if he’s going to have another operation then he’s probably going to either miss the rest of this season or have it in the summer. Either way I can’t see us getting massive money for him between now and the summer because of this re- accuring injury. Hope I’m wrong. I thought he had a small op on his pelvic op in the summer then was out with just a dead leg recently, with his last calf strain being blamed on the Cribbs poor quality training pitches? " However, it is now understood these (contract) talks will be put on hold while Clarke-Harris recovers from his (calf) injury setback, which is the latest injury he has suffered a pelvis injury during the summer that kept him out of pre-season."

Some fans blamed it on the training pitch, even though it has won awards in the past. I thought during an interview a member of staff said, he suffered it at the end on a long run though. We didn't have a game that weekend, as we were due to play Bury. Can't recall who said it now, but I thought that was said at the time. Calf injuries are often picked up after a long run, or when do hill runs.

The point being made was JCH hasn't had continuing problems with his calf, it's three separate, unlinked, injuries any player could sustain.

Lol I find it funny people saying 'how much would you offer'? That's irrelevant - if I want to buy a Ferrari for £10, it doesn't mean it's worth £10. You wouldn’t score many goals with a Ferrari now would you.

I hope he gets fit soon to spearhead our push for the top but based on the season so far if scouts have been watching, I do not believe they will have seen enough to warrant putting in a bid.

Some of the pathetic low figures on here are embarrassing. Talk about lowered expectations!!! Beggars can't be choosers

Jack Marriott was with Peterborough for a year before being sold to Derby county for 3 million. I don’t see why we should get a penny less than this for JCH. If clubs aren’t willing to pay that then he’s still under contract so we’ll keep him.

Any club apart from the Trashton Hate, I realise the fella wants offski, so let him go, just hope BG has a player lined up to replace JCH; says he has watched all of our games this season, so will realise we need someone in the mode of the great Andy Rambo to fire the Gas to promotion. It has been posted that he felt he wanted to stay if we were pushing for promotion but that he felt the club wanted to sell him. I’m just repeating what was written and by folk who say the spoke with him

His attitude and demeanour was completely off today. Wether that means he is on his way or not, it is detrimental to the team and something we could do without. In a team that fights and battles for each other (90% of the time) petulance is the last thing that’s needed.

We have had no bid received for JCH from any club but plenty of scouts watching him.
