Can't see us signing Ledley, he's not a position we need. However he would have been at Palace the same time as Ben Garner.

Pretty clear from that article it's going to be Newport for Ledley. I’m not sure, I interpreted it as he respects Flynn, gets on well with him and he is open to joining Newport, but where he says he doesn’t know if it’s possible, that could be for a number of reasons like no money for his wages or whether they’d be able to offload other players to get him in in time . Dont think it was ever an issue for Easter when he joined us to raise his family in Cardiff.

Buffonge looked quality at U18 level coming through at Man Utd. Attacking midfielder with an eye for a pass, nice balance and lovely left foot. Just the 3 league Serie B games in Italy to name, so at Smith's/Adeboyejo's level at best, he hardly sounds like he's ready for first team action but I guess he's cheap if he's stuck palying Italy reserve team football at present. Bogle sounds like a real gamble, as he's done virtually nothing of note since he stepped up a level when he left Grimsby, even Nicholls(!) scored more goals than him at Posh. Buffonge was highly-rated during his time at Utd and was even called up by Mourinho to train with the first team along with Mason Greenwood and James Garner. Was named as one of the 10 young players to keep an eye out for in The Independent at one point, along with the likes of Phil Foden, Ryan Sessegnon and Eberechi Eze. He's still only 21 and having seen him play I would say he has the potential to be a success if the manager can unlock some of the ability and potential he demonstrated 2 or 3 years ago.

Sounds like he'll be an interesting signing then, perhaps making the brave move to Italy was just a step too far, we clearly need somebody who can actually move the ball forward from midfield. So where do you see him playing, centre mid or the roles Nichol/Bennett/Hargreaves played today? if the latter it seems we're lacking a DCM if Ogogo is out for any length of time.

What happened to the whole “we’ve got no budget and cannot sign anyone until others leave”? Of course it could just be a couple of loans where we don’t have to cover any of the wages. The two players in question were at the game today and stood on the West Enclosure. I know who they are but I won't say who until it's official. How convenient to name the players once it's official. I'm pretty sure we could all do that !!

I hope the two new proposed players enjoyed the game today, until suppliers to the club are paid what's owed to them can't see anyone arriving apart from a winding up order, heard today from an impeccable source one vital supplier for match day services is owed £50,000.

Shall I put the popcorn in the microwave now or do you think I should wait a little longer?

Pointless and juvenile post then Surely you can say who was at the game. As of they were at the game, others world have seen them anyway. It's not a secret, unless they snuggled them in and they were wearing masks the whole time???
