Personally now Smiths left , hope it allows us to keep Reilly who I thought looked pretty bright & useful when he came on as sub against Donny. Unless Cheltenham want him back he can't now go anywhere now, Reilly on Saturday looked just as good as Smith, although knowing Reilly that might have been is one good game in 10! I like the way the othe poster suggests Barrow is a lot closer to Sheffield than Bristol! Given he got 28 games for us and only 14 for Donny we seemed to have given him plenty of game time plus surely Rochdale is a step down, or have we now dropped that low that they are seen to offer loan players more potential? Reilly can still go to a club in Scotland.

However, I imagine hes here to be our player. I think Smith has greater potential but in the present- much of a muchness.

In accordance with FIFA Regulations a Player may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play in official matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to different associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Clubs are advised that domestically the above applies to all registrations except Non-League, Short Term and Youth Loans, although Foreign Associations may include these loans as counting towards the rule. Clubs should take this into account should a Player in these circumstances be considering a move to another Association, whether on a temporary or permanent basis. More detailed guidance is published on the CPS on a season by season basis – please refer to the Player Administration Section of the service www.efl.com/-more/governance/efl-rules--regulations/section-6---players/
