I'm amazed our fans at home haven't yet started to sing "sack the board" how much more do we have to put up with from the owners that never communicate with the fans or show any leadership? Whenever a member of the so called board members are interviewed or asked questions (twentyman today for example) we are fed absolute dross. For all the flack Higgs and Dunford took at least they had the decency to regularly communicate with the fans unlike this shower of sh**e. I'll wait for all the happy clippers to shoot me down but I've had enough now we need weal out!

The time is now, enough is enough, I was just about to start a thread on Wael and co out, Starnes and that awful interview summed up there opinion of the fans.

Screaming from the rooftops for the board to leave, with no actual fit & proper successors lined up to step in, is total lunacy.

But with debts and losses that we have unless there is a very rich buyer/consortiumn out there who not only has the money but truly also has the best interests of the club at heart and they actually want to buy us then there is no other option?
Fine to say let the fans run the club but I think that would be a disaster as if this forum is anything to go by then we have a very split fanbase so we'd never be able to decide on anything let alone none of us having the substantial cash required to just keep us afloat (we'd never have the money or be able to generate what would be needed to do all the things were all demanding now)

I'd suggest that if you always do what you’ve always done, you always get what you’ve always gotten, is lunacy.

As another poster on another thread has stated, sack the board & then what? give it to the fans to run the club Do you really think the ALQ's are going to write off £10m+ of debts and handover the Mem worth £25m+ because you've started a protest thread on the forum? Even if they ever did how could fans meet the annual £1m+ losses and fund a new stadium and training ground?

protest against what exactly? An owner covering the huge losses now involved in running a football club? An owner fighting off a group of machiavellian amateurs trying to force a bad deal for the club?
It’s the same noise that black and gold had when Higgs was in charge.
There wasn’t actually any point to it, because no one had actually put forward a plan of how to do things differently with a guarantee to prop up the club. They just fancied a noisier moan than usual.

If you are going to protest it has to be meaningful with a clear vision of change backed up with a well thought out plan. Oh and with funds to support it. .

Well where are the suggestions of positive change to this protest. If you are going to protest it has to be meaningful with a clear vision of change backed up with a well thought out plan. Oh and with funds to support it. . I agree with that, but I’m not sure we really need the eulogising of the servicing of the debt. The reason why no-one can come up with an alternative plan is because no-one would be mad enough to pay 17 million to buy these jokers out because of the debts *they* ran up and they, being bankers, are not willing to take a loss on the chin as part of their poor running of the club. They have taken the ownership of the club out of the reach of a well meaning local businessman- the only people we can hope to ride in and save us are a consortium of venture capitalists who will have machinations on the stadium land in some form or other. This administration is now exceeding Higgs’s mob for incompetence and damage done, the last thing they need is a slap on the back or to be congratulated!

It’s out of the reach of any local businessman who would be very successful by most standards. But I think that is the same for any football league club now. Go up a league and you aren’t losing £3m a year, you are losing £13m a year and finding all sorts of dodgy fiddles like Derby County. I think if the ALQs did want *out* then they would have to write off some of their accrued debt. Wethee that would happen remains to be seen. We can’t all shout at someone and say they are rubbish but if we don’t have the promise or resources ourselves it even a first idea then it’s a pointless exercise just protesting.

Will never happen. If you publicly raise issues about the ground you get derided and shouted down. It's been tried a million times but this fanbase seems particularly docile. Better to find a nice non-league side to attend until the sh** hits the fan.

Ok, so people aren't sure exactly how protest could happen or what may replace them, but surely that sort of 'argument' is exactly what keeps people / cultures / races etc in their place, and retains the status quo. Telling people 'it won't get you anywhere' is exactly what dictatorships want to propagate. Machiavelli? I think you'll find that certain people at the club have clearly read The Prince, rather than the amateurs you vaguely mention. The way the board has been set up has made that very very clear, plus the loss of Holtby, Brookman, Screen Soccer and now the SC. It's clearly very very controlling behaviour.

Not every single aspect of those individuals mentioned were positive influences though, were they?
