Hi all!
Attending the matchday hospitality for Saturdays game. Can anyone offer any light on what the carvery is like and the all round experience? Looking forward to it!
Hopefully we can get 3 points on the board and shut the moaners up (until Sunday morning)
Thanks!

I wondered who was going to get Ken Masters’ place at the table.

The food is good, the view from the seats is unparalleled in my opinion. Enjoy.

It’s a great day out. Good atmosphere and the seating at the top of the east gives a fantastic view.

The food is really good. You’ll enjoy the day. Like others have said, the seats are cracking.

Thanks all for your replies! Very much looking forward to it! As a Family we do Hospitality at least once a Season, and we really enjoy it. Food is good. It's just a really good experience and I think if you do it once, you'll want to do it again. Let us know how you get on?

I've been lucky enough to enjoy the hospitality event too.
Starters was horsdeouve or soup of the day. Usually choice of two meats (or you can have both or veg alternative) carvery. With all the trimmings. Dessert was something chocolatey I think.
Tea coffees with a mint.
All served with a smile and high quality.
If you're lucky, you get a pre match walk and talk from club staff (Tom and/or one other), a former player monologue question answer session and a man of match presentation ceremony where you get a chance to meet and have photos etc...
You get exclusive entry to the restaurant with wristbands, a programme, opportunity for 50/50 purchase and can order half time drinks so they're waiting for you. If you're at the back of the stand in boxes, excellent view!
All very organised, all very interesting, only thing can't rely on is the 90 minutes on pitch chaos....... enjoy and please report back!

I've never enjoyed hospitality at the Mem, mainly because no-one likes me enough to invite me, but also because I always assumed the food would be poor quality buffet fodder.
From the comments on here, perhaps I've underestimated our catering crew.

Following up from Saturday and despite us winning the trophy for being the only team not to score a goal in 2020, the day was great!
I was expecting to be put with a bigger table since there was only 3 of us so it was a nice surprise to have a table for 3 awaiting us.
A bread roll along with a programme greeted us all followed by a couple welcomes from members of staff. No ques at the bar which was also another plus.
They came round and asked what we would like for starters, it was soup of the day or hors d'oeuvres which they then bring to the table. You're then asked table by table (which is done to avoid ques) to go the carvery where they ask what meats you want (it was turkey and beef on Saturday). They then serve you all the trimmings so sadly you cant be fat bastards and pile on the pigs and blanets along with roast potatoes but if you ask nicely they will slip you an extra couple roasties.
Following a roast dinner at 1:30 feeling great, you remember you have to go outside to watch rovers but luckily they lift your spirits with dessert of the day which was a cracking chocolate and caramel tart.
We then took our seats in the poplar insulation box 4 which was a great view to analyse the game, although you cant see the touchline, it was seen as a bonus on Saturday as you couldn't see Barton moan. (anyone know where his bouncer was?)
You can also pre-order drinks for HT/FT which was a nice touch and we took advantage of. You're warmed up with tea and coffee along with a Russian roulette of biscuits, luckily I got ginger nuts, my dad however was unlucky with a packet of digestives. I was jealous of the bugger across for me with a packet of custard creams.
Biscuits aside, you forget there is a second half. After a second half which fizzled out, it was nice to go back into the warm and not have to rush to get seats in the bar. The MOTM presentation followed and the asked Josh a couple of questions.
On the whole it was a fantastic day. I would highly recommend to do it once if you have not, its a unique experience and one me and my family thoroughly enjoyed! Me, along with my dad and brother will certainly be doing it again next season (hopefully when we are winning games).
I should note the great work Tom Gorringe is also doing at our club and amongst his many jobs and constantly answering nonsense questions by fans, I dropped him a short message back in December to ask that as my dads birthday presents was the hospitality ticket that if there was a way for Coughlan to record a video message to wish him a happy birthday. (after that failed for a number of reasons). Tom apologised and said he would sort something and on Saturday my dad was surprised with a signed home shirt by the whole squad presented by Josh Barrett.
We may not get a lot of things right at Rovers but hospitality is one we certainly do!
