West Ham(1995) at Twerton. Lost 1-0 can't remember any of the game but remember getting some chips at one point. VS Bristol City(2000) Lost 3-2 after taking the lead after 28 seconds. Got one of those awful 40 year old double deckers to the game. View was terrible, especially for an 11 year old. Best result I've ever seen there is the 0-0 in 2007. Or being pedantic we were technically the away team at Wembley against Huddersfield in 1995.

I've been puzzling over this recently. I remember getting taken to watch Aston Villa at Eastville - must have been 1974. Trouble is my memory doesn't match the facts. I swear it was an evening game but that game was on a Saturday afternoon. First away game was at Stamford Bridge in 1977.

H v Swindon 1966 won 3-0. Sat in the South Stand at Eastville. A v The Sh1t 1970 lost 2-1. Glos Cup Final - my Dad took me. I recall being grumpy as he wouldn't buy me a programme.

Despite the title of this thread I have forgotten my first home game. It was at twerton in the early 90's and might have been against Swansea but just as easily might not have been. First away game was definitely unforgettable though, 1996 (still had to google the year) at Trashton in a 2-0 win. So that wins hands down! Pat on the back to everyone who remembers exact years and opponents of first home games though! SNAP! city 0-2 Rovers 1996, Beadle double, what a night! Rovers 2-1 Swindon 1990/91.

I was there for that city 2-0 win. A few thousand locked out as they didn’t make it all ticket. Great atmosphere. I had quite an interesting night. I was working up in Oxfordshire at the time and just came down for the night. I suitably lost it when both Beadle’s goals went in. It was only at the end of the game that I realised at some point my car keys and house keys had gone flying. I asked a steward if he had found any keys and he pulled out Huge bunches of keys, none were mine. I had to get a lock smith out for my car to move it as it was on yellow lines. I had to stay over as I didn’t have my house keys. I had to get a new car key from Ford the next day, phone my work to explain my situation (I’d only just started the job as well) and finally I had to get back in my house. Was it worth it, he’ll yeah. I still have the VHS of the game somewhere (no video recorder to play it on mind). Happy days.

I'm still trying to forget the last game I went to, nevermind remembering the first.

Our last game at Twerton before moving to the Mem against Peterbrough with Barry Fry standing topless in the dugout in 96 was the first I remember. However Im sure I went to a game at Eastvile as a baby (I was born in 1981) and another couple of games at Twerton but cant remember the clubs played.

Tranmere Rovers 1968 Eastville. A 0-0 I think. Or was it 1-2?
Away was the red lot at a Gloucestershire cup final in about 1972. We won on pens.

Wrexham at home maybe '97? (Not sure, too young to make a mental note!),
Been to Wembley and the millennium stadium a few times, I wanna say Shrewsbury and Rochdale maybe? Can't be certain!

Burnley or Bournemouth (95/96?) v Swansea (early 2000s). Interesting to note that all 3 have been top flight teams in recent times.
I envy those with the memories to remember exactly, but I know I've been on this track since the old man took me to the 95 playoff final as a 7 year old!
