30's positive. If you can't think things can be better in the future then what's the point I think th point a lot of th older folk are makin is they wont be around ta fucckin see th better future at this rate of progress! Quite right bj. In recent weeks it has begun to dawn on me, for the first time, that I might be pushing up daisies before the new stadium gets built. I hope be around for at least 20 more years, but the way things look now, that might be too tight a schedule.

One thing this poll seems to be confirming is my point on a different thread that were a split fanbase as we're pretty much split 50/50 across the age ranges in how we feel (either negative or positive)...... no wonder we can never agree about anything on here!

Like listening to rap music or going on whatsapp, or whatever it is they do.

I can't wait to be 50, sounds great.... Yeah it’s great having to get up twice in the middle of the night to take a water.

Im 38 years old and ever since my first game Ive lived with just pure hope that we could build into a solid championship or ever Premier club one day in a brand new stadium.
But now its not even blind hope anymore that I live with.Rather dead, and reincarnated hope that our club will break from within its shell it lives under.
I sadly doubt that will ever see anything more than that blind hope ever happen in any of our life times..

Mid 40’s and positive - have supported the club through much worse situations and predicaments... that’s not to say things couldn’t be better now (transparency and communication)... Wonder whether the recent history promotions and football style (under Clarke in his glory seasons) plus the sensationalist media coverage (click baiting) is over influencing people’s views? Rubbish...under DC we worked our way back to our rightful place based upon our clubs history.(I respect DC more that anyone ever in regards to our FC BTW, so its not a knock on him..) The only thing influencing Gasheads views is how badly we have been run during our history given the potential of our club. Its simple.

Old and fairly positive, apart from a dip in optimism after DC left.
Watching Rovers is something I still look forward to, there is plenty of other stuff in life for me to stress about.

Ta for poll oh clever one! afraid never take me rose tinters off so always positive for me !great believer in the poem 'IF', neither triumph or disaster last long so when we have the good times positivity is every where and during bad times i know good time are just around the corner so am still positive about future! Rudyard Kipling wrote what I think was/is the best prose and advice, in that piece, than anyone ever has. It’s a work of genius and I felt privileged to have studied it and the circumstances he was in, whilst writing it. It’s my go to piece if ever I feel anger or any negative emotion. Truly and inspired piece Anyway, back on topic, the poll shows not just votes but how many of us old gits there are. I was hoping for more younger votes but I have to accept we are just not attracting them, as we used to. There is no Bobby Jones over the Park now and lots of young 82. Gutted of Kingswood

After 50 years of following through thick and thin and thinner, I am the most negative I have ever been about the club.
I think it is because I had my hopes raised beyond my wildest dreams when the A Q's rode in on a white horse and promised the stadium, training ground and top notch academy.
I no longer believe we will be in a new stadium in my life time - so gutted!

So it looks like the older fans are proportionately more positive than the younger ones. Blimey! Who’d have thunk that!

Maybe going through the Twerton era gives a sense of perspective and the experience that good things can happen against all the odds. That said, I’m more negative than I’ve ever been about the club and if I had to put it down to one thing it is the size of the debt which really worries me.
