Great news that Ben is back! I hope all is well with his family and they're getting back to full health.
Now let's hope for a positive result next to really big up the feel good factor!

I phoned Warnock and gave him the news, since no-one else seemed willing to step up.
It wasn't an easy call, believe me, but I think he'll be ok.

Nice interview and good to hear that things have improved at home. Good to hear that he’s been able to get the ball rolling with regard to how he wants the side set up. Didn’t realise he was struggling at home from the time he arrived here must have been very difficult.

We need to really get behind Ben and the team more than ever tomorrow. A feisty game could play into our hands at home.

Tomorrow (for me) his tenure really begins. Clean slate for all, let’s secure the 3 points heading into another winnable game at the Reebok on Tuesday. A real chance to get ourselves back in contention, whilst building the confidence back to where it was.

Having just watched Ben Garners interview I’ve got absolutely no doubt whatever that he’s a top bloke , very level headed and will do his absolute best too. Whether he can build our club to what he wants and what we want time will tell but I’m 100% behind him and our club , and we move forward. This season hangs in the balance , we can still win promotion and we can still be relegated. As supporters we need to turn up and support.

Welcome back Ben.
Maybe he'll get a delayed "new manager" bounce today?

The Gaffer talking about the Bolton Game. Finally, Garner was asked about how he would benefit from his first win as Rovers manager...
"Not so much for me, I just want it for the players and the group. They deserve a win, they've been unlucky in a number of games now. On Saturday, the penalty flicking off and hitting the bar, and that would've been the win.
"I'm disappointed for them more than anything, it's not about me, I'm not trying to get that win for me, it's about the club and about the players, and I'm desperate for them to get that win as soon as possible and we'll keep doing everything we can to try and get it."

And I imagine the players and supporters would love for him to get his first win as a football league manager, the first of many in a long and successful career. Seems like a thoroughly nice and decent bloke.

He certainly does seem like a nice bloke unfortunately , he also seems like a nice bloke that doesn’t understand league 1 football or the capabilities of our squad at least not yet. Time will tell.

What are your thoughts on his the BP article "Ben Garner not willing to deviate from philosophy for quick wins" - www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ben-garner-not-willing-deviate-3781217"So we have just got to stay positive and stick to that, it would be easy to try and take shortcuts and try to fix things in the short term but I don't think that is right for the football club and what we want to develop here.
"It is important we stick with the end goal that we have in mind. We want to try to achieve wins as quickly as possible but I am not going to deviate away from that plan and where the club is going because we need to do what is right for the club in the long term not just the short term."
I have to admit that this worries me, especially when he said he wouldn't rock the boat or change a winning formula when he first came in.
I'd rather he product winning football and go for the play offs, as we were, rather than playing the football we are now that doesn't get results. He could then work on his brand of football in the summer?!

This is a results business. If we don’t start accumulating a reasonable amount of points it’s bye bye Ben.

Those statements concerned me when I read them yesterday.
Also odd that there wasn’t a video.
