Yeah I remember people complaining the Colkett was a player who's "nice to have", but isn't right for us/our style of football as he didn't work hard enough in all areas of the pitch. As opposed to some of our current players who are "not nice to have"!

Charlie Colkett now plays for ÖFK Östersund in Sweden Where my son lives I did watch Jamal Blackman play for ÖFK when he was on loan there when Graham Potter was their Manager Let's just say the loan spell did not go well! . What didn't go well?? What were his weaknesses etc Off the field issues from what I've read regarding partying after a heavy defeat and also being pulled by the police for suspected drink and driving. The drink drive limit is low in Sweden and from what I've read he would have been OK here in UK but a single pint can put you over in Sweden that said it seemed to cause a bit of a storm at the club.

Thought Colkett was wheyyyyy above league one. Suprised his career hasn't kicked on. We had him for 5 months and he got 3 or so goals and similar assists. I think when hes forced to graft for it he will be insanely good. That was his issue I think Madgas. He didn’t like the grafting side of the game. Even if you look at the CAMs in the prem where you get more time on the ball they will still run 10km+ per game. Shane really because as you say good player in there somewhere. I feel he could/ can develop that. I work relatively hard on a pitch but have a poor touch. Hence I'm in office today, I guess.
