After Coventry Game. - Looked a lot more threatening than in previous games. - JCH scored again from open play. - Ginnelly and Mitchell-Lawson played well suppoorting JCH (In the first half atleast) - Tranmere lost so still 16 points away from any relegation fear. I can’t believe that we are worrying about Tranmere, fear no more they have Stephan Payne playing for them! Don’t worry be happy.

- Had more possession and shots against 2nd in the League, clearly we are improving as a team. - Mitchell-Lawson scored a cracking goal, will be a good signing for us IMO - JCH getting himself involved in the action, nice assist and should of scored 1 if not 2 himself. Looks to be more focused now the window is closed.
Time to take this performance into Tranmere, tighten up at the back a little and put fears of relegation to bed once and for all.

Think of the "bloke in the pub" as a huggy bear type character from starsky and hutch, always a good supplier of information when you need it.

I’m sure there will be some performance, points, position, playing style related clauses in his contract to safeguard the board paying up full contracts especially after GC’s reign

After the last home defeat, where we ran around a bit more for 30 minutes, I came away from the game thinking "this is bleak". Not enough goalmouth action, not getting in behind their defence, etc for team playing at home .
The Wycombe game has raised my optimism. I know we lost, but I think that performance shows the team can progress. 3 wins on the bounce now, and who knows.....

Seems as good a time as any to get this going again. 3 positives from the goalless draw.
Josh Barrett looked like he has the potential to create and change a game. We kept a clean sheet. We looked much more comfortable in the new system than we did in the one used against Swindon.

Gerry Obrien played something like 3 games for bristol rovers and was superb , when Don Megson was asked why he didn't sign him permanently he said if i signed him id have to sign 10 players to go with him . Now we have skilful players all over the park we must enjoy the football and not keep wanting the rovers in the premiership

Ehmer and Baldwin looked more at home in a back 4. Leahy steady as always. Our best lb in squad. Barrett looks a player with intelligence and wanting the ball.even grant started to show a bit more bite with upson next to him. Couldn't fault the effort and commitment today
