We were bottom of the league in December last season four points adrift and heading out of the division , JCH was signed and partnered with Nichols and we finished mid table.
This season they played together again most weeks and we were 3rd in December and creating chances and hardly ever losing games, one defeat at home all season up to Christmas.
Then Nichols is told he’s surplus to requirements the partnership is broken and we no longer even create chances let alone score goals.
Nichols doesn’t score , he’s a bit lightweight but he’s busy he creates space for others and keeps the ball better than most in our squad.
Yes we should be able to do better than him but currently we aren’t and we should play him alongside JCH until the end of the season because it wasn’t broken and it didn’t need fixing.
It isn’t about individual players it’s about combinations that work
Our football in possession is so bad without him and was last season too when he didn’t play.

Get a new striker or two through the door before the end of the window and a midfielder that can pick a pass!

Not scored a goal since Nicho has been dropped.
People realise how key he was to not just our general attack but to JCH? He doesn’t score but he setup goals. Now we have no one scoring and no one setting them up.

I guess you can't squeeze someone out if you keep picking him. If we haven't got rid of him by the end of the window, I imagine he'll reappear on the team sheet. |

Nichols doesn't score in L1 - give me his stats for us in 3 seasons ? and only occasionally gets an assist. Hiim and Bennett were terrible signings, don't you agree ? |

JCH hasn’t had a look in since Nichols was dropped he needs a striker to play alongside |
