Not though is it? It's an opinion and not one based on fact since the stats show Liam Sercombe most assists this season. Creates more does not mean assists. Oh yeah I forgot, we're only allowed to measure Tom's performance by non-measurable metrics.

Ridiculous that we haven’t even looked like scoring since he’s been dropped ☕️ Nothing to do with change of formation and tactics then? Purely that one player being dropped? It’s a combination of the two. JCH can’t play on his own up top. We can all see that. Ok So he has to play up top with someone ? Ok Maybe go with the player who he was partnered with when he was banging them in ? Footballs a simple game often complicated by people with too many badges.

So do you enjoy the post TN cr@p Garner's producing week in, week out, we went 96 minutes today and our only decent shot at goal was the penalty, last week JCH early miss was the extent of our chances. God knows what BG sees in Barrett who looks totally out of his depth at this level, although to be fair to him he was only a Reading Academy player. I do wonder where our next decent chance from open play is coming from let alone goal, what is Garner's 4-3-2-1 formation actually achieving apart from forcing JCH to seek a move this week?

I dont think it's a formation issue. Weve largely played two upfront in this bad run.

Ridiculous that we haven’t even looked like scoring since he’s been dropped ☕️ We missed a penalty today - you can't get a better chance than that to score ! Nichols doesn't score in L1 - give me his stats for us in 3 seasons ? and only occasionally gets an assist. Hiim and Bennett were terrible signings, don't you agree ? I don’t get the obsession with Nichols, a crap striker who will be lucky to be playing league football next season.

I can’t see Nichols coming back now he’s been benched and subsequently dropped altogether by a manager who’s made no attempt to deny that he’s on the transfer list. I think some have forgotten that Nichols had been on a dreadful run of form prior to that and hasn’t been creating for JCH nor anyone else this season unlike last. I don’t think he’s awful but neither do I think he’s the answer to all our problems.

No we haven’t we’ve largely played JCH up front on his own with two winger / inside forwards behind/ wide In 5 of 8 matches weve played since BG took charge and that JCH- he had started with a partner. I'd agree its key to our game to get him involved. But it's not as if its "simply" strike partner away. The mans drawn blanks with or without a friend up top. I'd suggest if we can find him a suitable partner youd be correct but I dont believe theres one at the club.

nicholls should be in there imo. its not happened for him on the scoring side for whatever reason but any1 who cant see that his link up play/making room for others improves us as a team needs their heads read.

I Voted For Kodos anyway you can get stats of results with/without TN? Would be interesting to see, as that is ultimately what matters, not his goal scoring record individually. I expect will take too long so don't worry if not.

There may be some truth in what socrates is saying but the biggest factor in our poor form is coughlan leaving imo.

One thing is for sure and that is that JCH is no spring chicken and has only ever been prolific once in his professional career. And that’s when he had Nichols alongside him.

We need to adopt a 442 formation but can only do this with the two best fit full backs which unfortunately are never fit! I like Rodman and Leahy but cant see them playing much after the two loanes we've brought in. Definitely need two up top and I think if we dont see two new strikers come in next week then ist JCH up top on his own for the remainder of the season.

Thanks for the straw man, topper, mate. We weren't scoring in December when Nichols was playing, we're not scoring now. Dropping the flop is coincidence not correlation.

In that situation I think it pays dividends to have a manager who’s hard as nails and doesn’t take any sh** and leads by example. DC was the same in the conference , Higgs would come out with all his dreams about a new stadium and were going to do this and that but DC held the club together.

We beat Plymouth, played probably our best home performance v Posh this season, Nichols hit the bar v Fleetwood and we'd have probably have beaten Wimbledon if BG hadn't subbed JCH off at 1-0! I think you've just proved beyond doubt that Garner hasn't clue, or being paid by Pantsdown to wreck our play off/promotion push!! GC did the right thing when he loaned out Reilly to Cheltenham, who promptly sent him back as he wasn't deemed good enough as soon as they had chance!

Garner only knows how to play 4-3-2-1 or 5-2-2-1 as he's played that in every game, for all his badges he's a total one trick pony.
