I don’t get it. THD, Leahy, Kelly in that position and all are available right now.

I don’t get it. THD, Leahy, Kelly in that position and all are available right now. THD is never fit, Leahy is a wingback and we seemingly don't want to do that any more and I think Kelly will be out the door soonish.

Pompey fans seem to think he can also comfortably play at right-back. They also prefer him over Lee Brown.

I wouldn’t have thought a left back would’ve been anywhere near the top of the priority list considering we’ve got 3, especially not one who’s recently had a bad injury.
Makes more sense if he can play right back though.

Played at least three games this season at right back.

Played at least three games this season at right back. Bloody hell! That's more than THD has played all season! Sign him on! On a serious note: Would people keep THD? I'd personally offer him a 1 year contract, providing he stays injury free for the rest of this season

Versatility (at the right price) is very valuable.

Played at least three games this season at right back. Can it really be that hard to sign a L1 standard right footed right back? I don't really understand this rumour if there's any truth in it. Particularly when all our our LB's & RB's are nearing being match fit.

Versatility (at the right price) is very valuable. Agreed, however it does of course depend on how well the player actually plays in various positions. Kilgour has now played a couple of games at RB and we certainly wouldn't think of as our backup RB.

I would have Lee Brown back if he want to come to us.

Versatility (at the right price) is very valuable. no. Players must be pigeon-holed and only able to kick with one foot

I would like to see us sign a RB so if he is two footed and can play either side then I think it would be a good move.
Portsmouth fans seem to rate him.
Little has not impressed and been injured most of the season.
Hare started the season well but no guarantee he could have maintained that form. Also, recovering from a serious injury and may not be match fit this season.
Kilgour is not a right back and should only be played there when there is no other option.
Not sure there is any truth it in though. Pompey fans seem surprised they would consider letting him go.

If he can play right back as well then could make sense as he could play there this season and switch to left next. Can't see Kelly winning new contract and still question marks over TDH's fitness unfortunately. Might be a good bit of forward planning?
Seems to fit a profile of younger player who can improve. That said he's a bit on the small side for my liking and just recovering from cartilage surgery so might not yet be 100% fit for a few weeks.

Bugger the fullback position, how about a striker who can hit the back of the onion bag and a midfielder who can lay the chances on a plate for him. Lee Brown was keeping this bloke out of the side until he was injured quite sometime ago and is still out, so is he any better than what we already have?

Laughable to think we need a LB considering how poor we are at creating chances and putting them away.
