I know that, lad. If it were in t'Yorkshire, like, I would have wrote summat like "Eeeup tha knows tha's gonna git a gud hidin". Eee bah gum is Lancastrian. My mum (Bless her, 1914-2002) was a proud Yorkshirewoman and she never, ever said Eee bah gum.
Fairly sure Eee bah gum originates from Yorkshire but I could be wrong. There used to be a joke that President Robert Mugabe was a Yorkshireman because his surname is “Eee bah gum” said backwards. Another reference point for eee bah gum could be the Fosdyke Saga cartoon series by the amazing cartoonist Bill Tidy. Serialised in the Daily Mirror in the 1970's, it was set in West Lancs / Cheshire. Plenty of local 'traditions', chimney pots, mangles and soot.

Yorkshire man takes his cat to the vet. Yorkshireman: "Ayup, lad, I need to talk to thee about me cat." Vet: "Is it a tom ?" Yorkshireman: "Nay, I've browt it wi' us."
***
A Yorkshireman's dog dies and as it was a favourite pet he decides to have a gold statue made by a jeweller to remember the dog by. Yorkshireman: "Can tha mek us a gold statue of yon dog?" Jeweller: "Do you want it 18 carat?" Yorkshireman: "No I want it chewin' a bone, yer daft begger!"

I don’t like the look of this, the EFL are so far up Bolton’s arse that they will probably let them cancel it! No penalty of course if they do.

I was going to drive the Gasmobil all the way to Bolton as it is a favourite ground of mine, but given we now have a manager who cannot win and a team that cannot score, it is a long way, (and expensive) to go and watch a 0-0 (if we are lucky). to be honest even a tenner on ifollow seems a bit steep

It was Nichols that scored in the 23rd minute, after Tyler Smith scored an earlier goal. Two strikers - one has left and the other will not be seen again in the quarters it seems Very big mistake made by our esteemed manager, Sir Tom will be a big loss I think he’s been a loss already in terms of the only striking partnership we’ve had in years that got us pushing for promotion appears to be no more.

TBH I’m surprised that Exeter haven’t come in for him? Still time yet though I suppose.

If I remember correctly Rodman provided the pin point cross to the unmarked Nichols Oh dear. A red rag to a bull. LJG will be along shortly with his filofax of TN stats.

TBH I’m surprised that Exeter haven’t come in for him? Still time yet though I suppose. How do we know they haven't and, like Swindon, offered us a third of his present wages? Although I've no idea if they've 4 decent strikers already. Plus as they look a good bet for promotion would you really want him back in L1 next season where he's failed to score for 3 seasons? Does even TN want to play in L1 as it can't be much fun for him get abuse from home fans every match!

Hope you wrap up warm and get to see an overdue Rovers win.

3 of us going up for a bit of corporate hostility!! Haven't seen us lose (live) away for a while, not that I've been to many, so let's hope I keep up the record!!

I think Big Jocks cooking a taster menu - chickens quiff soup served in a baboons ass to start, then the wonderful 3 game surprise, weasel in a squirrel in a badger and to finish off a beautiful sweet breads selection from native rodents - Enjoy
