Could he be the winner tomorrow. Think we may need extra guy ropes for the flappy stands

Yes. It looks bad tomorrow. Is it really likely to be off. Driving up will take 3 hours so I will be keeping an eye on this, don’t want a wasted journey. Is the pitch still ok? Lots of rain expected between now and then and the wind will be high so I suppose the tents will be vulnerable. UTG!

Even if on, I'm considering if it's safe to sit my kids in the SW tent with me.

Can see it being the lowest crowd of the season, who wants to come stand on an open terrace with the form we’re on?

Man City had a game called off in the previous storm for that reason and I think their stadium is a bit more robust than our tented village! Someone could be retrieving the South West stand from a field in the Cotswolds on Sunday morning!! i wouldn’t be surprised if it gets called off so keep your radio on when travelling !

Who will make the decision (apart from Dennis) on whether the stadium is safe - and when? The referee will make the decision regarding the pitch but is it in his remit to decide on safety issues wrt the stadium. There is more rain forecast this week-end than there was last week-end. I certainly wouldn't want to be sitting in one of the tents - think I’ve convinced myself not to bother tomorrow which will be my first miss this season - not that I needed too much convincing. If the match is on the attendance figure could start with a 5.

6,000 at a push tomorrow I think. Sad really but the club are the masters of their own downfall to some extent. I’ll be there but that’s probably out of habit and blind loyalty more than anything.

If the game's on I'll be there, and it will be my first one this year. What's the opposite of a fair weather fan?

On the bright side
A really good hurricane could blow the whole shabby lot down and we could redevelop on the insurance money
Assume we have insurance
Oh
You know what they say about assume........

Tomorrow is no more windy than other odd days we've had over the last few years and there's been no structural damage in the past so I guess it should be alright. Don't think it'll be anywhere near as windy as the Newport game a few years ago.

Don't think insurance pay out on three tents one of which is very very old will fund much in the way of redevelopment.I reckon Eastville was better.

Play it by ear. If we're losing 3-1 deep into the match then raise it as a health and safety issue, call the game off and replay the game. Only trouble is I wouldn't bank on us winning the replay.
