Never been a happy clapper, nor one of the boo boys but today was the first time in my 25 -30 years of supporting the gas that I left a game early (in the 70th min mark after the goal)...and Im 38 years old.
I was stood there in the blackthrone in a truely sh** stadium, going to the toilet while standing in overflowing water from the toilets watching awlful, noooooo f**king shocking football.
We are heading back to the national league. The progress DC gave our club after 2014 for 2/3 years has been lost and we are a complete mess again. No wonder GC walked!!!!
We are safe this year, but we will 100% finish rock bottom of L1 in May 2021.
Before anyone calls me un loyal etc..get a grip.My uncle played for us in the 1960s,Ive been a fan for nearly 30 years.Spent £1,000's on watching us both home and away through the years, another £40 today... but now this club is taking the water!!
It will be a long time before Im back supporting blindly with just pure hope until we make proper changes.
Sad day.

DC and the squad from 2014-2017 gave us the best platform we will ever get to push on off the field and secure a future. We put up another tent. Now the football's turned south (as it will from time to time) we'll have nothing gained from the miracle of those years.
Totally disengaged from the club at present.

Sums up my post and feelings 100% Farmygas, but in a shorter form. Im hurt from today.. as Ive never done this to my team.Even during relegation seasons.A dark day for me and I saw aleast 200-300 others leave on the 70min mark. This club needs to get a grip before its lost.

I wouldn't say we are a Div 2 side necessary. I would say we will be under the present management of B.G. However: if we appoint an experienced manager who can sort out the 'retained list' very soon and attract players this summer . We could be a mid table outfit. A lot of contracts are up this summer and good dealings should give us a mid table side in 2020/21. But we need to act fast ...

If BG is still in charge and keeps up his form that he has since he has taken over then we will 100% be down my late October/November, not December... We are L2 in everyway apart from our potential fanbase. Team, Stadium, Training ground...

Sooner or later they might be right, but a broken clock is right twice a day. If we play like this we will go down next season, but there is a long time until next season. We don't know what manager, or squad we will have yet.

We had continued Coughlan’s top 7 form, JCH continued scoring goals and we even got a titbit of information from Wael regarding a new stadium. Now it’s shaping up to be even worse, we look like a terrible side lacking cohesion, JCH’s goals have dried up, Jaakkola and Davies are out injured and not a peep out of Wael since. Life supporting Rovers is as always a rollercoaster. I just hope it ends up with smiles rather than tears and vomit.

To be fair today was the ever first time that I got to the point of saying I couldnt give a sh**, as I felt my club was taking the water outta me.And thats why I left on the 70 min mark... Today may not have been Mansfield in 2014,but it was a complete disgrace and Im sick and tired of wearing blue and white quartered tinted specs and having just blind faith. This club is sh** right down to its core, and Im sick of just hoping things will come good which has never happened in 25 years. I will always be gas but laying out the cash I do makes me feel robbed.

I had similar feelings myself today.
Sadly the days of being able to scrape by as rag bag Rovers are fast becoming impossible. The football world is all about money now, and we ain’t got any. Even the clubs with no money have got more than us!
At least 25 years ago there were plenty of crap outfits we could say were no better than us. Look at it now though- Wimbledon have gone out of business, started again, climbed the leagues and are soon to move back home into a new stadium! Might not be Wembley but I bet it won’t have portaloos for toilets and charge £25 for the privilege!

Can t argue with the OP, enjoy seeing my mates having lunch couple of peroni s then unfortunately we leave Grounded.sit in the East stand with a fabulous view of our midfield who are slow, cant pass and bereft of ideas. If Tom G is reading this I would think season ticket prices should be cheaper after what we have endured, if prices are raised it will be like MK Don's stadium next season.

Will be interesting to see the take up of early bird offers and renewals.
What will be the incentive of watching matches in a abomination of a stadium and after losing one match with bury it needed to be the football that got you parting with cash. Now thats been ruled out as well.

The club don’t deserve the core supporters who turn up week in week regardless of what’s happening on and off the pitch. Look around you next time you’re at a game. Look at the ratio of fans who are over 60. When we first moved back to Bristol, there were kids all along the front of every stand. Where are they now? Ashton Gate would be my guess. We are being left behind by the likes of Fleetwood Town, never mind City.

Actually ticket prices are not the only costs associated with home matches.
Some of us pay considerable travel costs to watch home games. Getting increasingly reluctant to continue to do so.

Gas-ed. Have said this before and is is the reason we are dying by a thousand cuts. Our fanbase is mainly in the 50 plus category and at that was the sad thing of blowing our chance of something this season to at least make some parts of the club attractive to the next generation

Terrible views from a tent and toilet floors that are inches deep in urine.

It is such a depressing read but unfortunately the majority are spot on who would have believed after carrying Mr President aloft down Gloucester Road we would be in this position today 👿 I like most am totally disillusioned with the whole setup and for the first time I can honestly say. I can take it or leave it and when the alternative is trudging around Yate Shopping Centre with the missus In think that says it all!!

The club, to their credit, try their best with the activities in the kids corner and the young pirates club but it’s like polishing a turd. Only way to entice people to come is offer them something worth coming for, at the moment we are struggling to remain even some of the most loyal Gasheads. It genuinely saddens me.

Our facilities are barley even at league two level anymore. Every year more and more lower league (and non league) clubs are overtaking us off the field
