I enjoy good football but this is a desperate season as so much at stake if we dont go up. Promotion at all costs for me regardless of anything

Forget entertaining the crowd. Picking up enough points to get into the play-off's in the only strategy that matters. I think it was Alan Durban, when manager of Stoke, who replied to grumbles about his awful team, "If you want entertainment, go and watch clowns."! I'm not saying he was right... but I want promotion more than entertainment. Sometimes the two go together though - if Balanta and LDV fire, we might tear teams apart. Who knows? don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for much. I'm just asking for the attacking play we were promised and less hoofball. and a few goals. I don't think we will get promoted (certainly not auto promotion) if we don;t get the above. They do go hand in hand with a team that is performing well TOGETHER. Hoofball is a sign of a lack of confidence, poor team work and a lack of basic skills. I don't think we can get high enough or good enough by some unconvincing wins and draws. I don't trust the play-offs; ask Luton about them.

Maybe we'll catch Barnet yet. If we beat them on Tuesday and win our game in hand... Long old road yet. Who knows- we may improve and they may fade.
Got to hope!

Then again, media rumour and speculation fuelled the Easter thing more than anything substantial. So we go and get two up and coming strikers that have done well at the level, or just below, we are at. Can't say fairer than that and hopefully they do the business.
