I miss live games so much I would go. Whether the club can make any money of the competition remains to be seen

No under it’s current format
Shame as I thought it was a worthwhile competition before the farcical intro of U23 teams from the Prem.

I sense it we were allowed to go to any 1st team game fans a decent number of fans would turn up, there's little else to do this winter for entertainment!

Went in previous years so would go this year for sure, usually a good chance to see some of the fringe players in action

For a start how can it be called the football league trophy ? What football league are Chelsea u23 in ?
Change the name to the invitation cup or something. Allow any team to apply to enter it. Allow any club to also enter u23 sides.

If I was in Bristol, probably. But I wouldn’t travel for it.
Under normal circumstances, not a chance. I don’t even think I’ll watch it tbh

I wouldn’t go on principle and probably won’t get to watch it either. Luckily I have this forum for a thoughtful, well-balanced appraisal of the game to look forward to on Wednesday morning

I’ve not missed many, usually a pleasant evening out. Cheap seat, no queues for a pint and an absence of the whinging brigade

If fans were allowed back I reckon it would be a sell out anything for normality

I'd go if we were playing football league opposition but won't go anywhere near a 'competitive' game against an academy side.

Bizarrely I've always gone to these and enjoyed myself. There have been as few as 6 people on the East Terrace on a wet Tuesday so no problem with social distancing.

The fa would probably turn around and use it to push for premier -23 sides in league football even more. “ attendances were higher than for league games “
