Just found this information on another sides forum regarding ifollow payments , I know a lot of fans have been asking how the revenue is distributed.
For home league games, the club receives £8.34 for all the match day passes purchased by home fans and £8.34 for the first 500 match day passes purchased by away fans.
For away league games, the club receives £8.34 for all match day passes purchased over 500.
For League Cup and EFL Trophy games the club receives 50% of all revenue generated from iFollow.

First problems after 18 mins of waiting, will on ifollow chat says log in again and it works, missed first 15 minutes great result and enjoyed it, however not sure about doing away games again, will take the home games as we need the season ticket money. Anybody else have the swirling circle, could get commentary on one side but no pictures, know john Kayes had the same. I get the swirling circle, I put it down to the poor internet in Rural areas, however, usually if i log on and off a few times I can watch it on TV with a laptop connected by HDMI, this time it would not work so ended up watching on a desk top PC. Which is odd that it would not work on a laptop !!

For all those having problems, may I suggest a POSSIBLE solution?
I am guessing a lot use their phones/tablets/laptops etc on wi-fi to watch any stream. There is a downside to wi-fi in that the maximum data transfer rate is 54Mb/sec - sounds a lot, but if others are also using wi-fi, any appliances, alexa, spot, thermostats etc, then there are a lot of conflicting signals flying around the home, not to mention degradation of signal over quite short distances, thickness of walls etc.
While this will not help mobile device users, if using a laptop, purchase a network cable (Cat5/5a/6/6a) and plug it directly into your router, and then connect the other end to your laptop/pc. If you want to watch on TV, then make sure your network cable is long enough to go from the router to near the TV, so you can connect to your laptop near to TV and then from laptop to TV via HDMI cable.
This will remove any vagaries of the wi-fi system. I now only seem to get the rotating circle of gloom just before the match starts and at half time. The game is nearly always superb (apart from the duff sound occasionally).

I don’t know if it’s any help but if you go on ifollow terms & conditions webpage & scroll down there is a lot of technical info (regarding internet speeds etc) required for different viewing platforms.

Couldn't get on at all and didn't manage to see any of the game. Started trying at 2pm and gave up at 4:30pm. Tried 3 different browsers, 3 different devices, 2 different networks I'm going to try and get my money back but I'm not holding my breath. I messaged I follow and the bloke there said log off and on again then got a picture, next time will put it on at 2 so I don't miss any action, I had been logging off and on with no success so I guess he did something their end. May I ask you a question pls... Where did you get the contact information for iFollow?

There is a bubble with chat on the right hand side, I clicked on it then 20 mins later someone said what is the problem, then connected me, I have just emailed Tom Gorringe as your experience and mine to some degree would put fans off it, which is not what anyone wants in these weird times. I will update with what he says as the problem was at ifollow s end

Given i can watch every other video platform via WiFi I can't see that's the issue, plus most modern laptops don' even have an Ethernet socket. My laptop was working OK until I changed the commentary from home to away and then I couldn't get the picture back but I had no issues with the app or watching the highlights later on my laptop. I sense there's an issue somewhere with the iFollow checking you have access to watch the match, but even clearing the cache didn't work on Saturday.

I phoned a number that is on the Rovers website under iFollow guide - but it goes straight to answerphone and tells you to send an email. Which I've done, just not feeling positive about getting a response.

Nice email and quick response from Tom, stating EFL running it and not anything to do with the club but apparently better using chrome. I will book in early Saturday and leave my tablet on but talk to the bubble if I have problems, good luck hope you get a response. Tom is a credit to the Gas quick polite response communication is great UTG.

I've always used chrome but recently have been unable to get past the worm, so am now using Firefox with no problems.

Read somewhere that we had 2900 on iFollow for the Northampton game . Should be looking at 4K for sats match after a couple of great wins and new signings to watch. Let’s get behind the lads and support the club
