They wouldn’t bring it forward under normal circumstances so why bring it forward under iFollow Covid circumstances. Viewers still need to get home from work or to wherever they’re watching the match, grab a bite to eat etc.
Once they cotton on that for many this will mean people not bothering they’ll stop bringing it forward I’m sure.

Why not make it a 3pm ko as per a Saturday ko? 6pm neither here nor there......🤔 The world gets more bizarre by the day......😢

Thanks for warning Al. I had seen the warning on the Shrewsbury forum, I can kind of understand why they are doing it. I guess schoolchildren might be allowed a late stay up if it’s an 8.00 finish. UTG!

I normally watch in the kitchen, and 6pm is normally T Time, so it could be bedlam around ko - this time of year I like to get a bovril to sup at Evening games, but now tea will be on the go the Mrs might get annoyed at having to make one whilst dishing up, I have already agreed a frisk down before entering the kitchen to watch the game - it caused me to miss the first 3 mins of the Ipswich game, but a bit like the cup game, that’s over for another year.

I believe the 6pm kick off was requested by Shrewsbury but no reason given for why. Rovers accepted the request the only thing I can think of is because of the Champions League games on the same night. Unfortunately one I will have to miss as won't get home till 7.15

A few weeks ago I’d have been watered off at getting a reminder so I don’t miss another defeat but with a few points on the board I’m actually glad of a reminder or I would have tuned at 7:45 as usual. Thanks Al!

Can I suggest Weetabix for tea, easy to dish up quickly for the Mrs.
