Is there any way to watch the fa cup game against Walsall next Saturday?

I can't see there is, it seems odd to me that the FA and EFL can't get their acts together and allow the non televised games to be shown on iFollow. That £10K+ Rovers alone will lose in subscriber fees.
These will be the first games played behind totally closed doors, it does make you wonder the point in even playing the games if no fans can watch them, as isn't the whole point of playing football games to entertain fans?

Not seen anything to say that it’s going to be televised, I know BBC Sport and BT Sport are showing more games than usual but ours isn’t one of them.
Seems counterproductive really as I would happily chip in a tenner to stream the game and indeed would of done in previous years when crowds were in grounds.

Wonder what the other top Euro leagues are doing for their cup / league games? Do they have iFollow type streams for fans to watch, free?, cinema type venues, drive ins, etc?
I suspect they will be miles ahead of the FA / EFL; they also have lockdowns in place in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, etc. or coming soon so .......
PS Can you see the pitch from the M6?

Disappointing that this cannot be sorted out - perhaps BT think if we can't watch our own teams we will all buy a subscription to watch some team we don't give two hoots about. People who really don't understand football fans ....... They really have two options cover every game live or let clubs supply a stream to their fans.

There are no freebies, especially from corporates? The £14.95 Premium Premier League games may soon be disbanded and all games may become free to watch for subscribed Sky BT Prime payees but the additional formula needs t be worked out with the Premier League. Personally, it would make sense for the Government to lean on the leagues / broadcasters and make them and all other games free to view during the lockdown period and pay some compensation to them. The broadcasters will not lose out as they will still broadcast the game with their adverts but to a far bigger audience so increasing the value of the adverts? One option would be what Sky do with the Red button for Championship games where when a game is broadcast, fans have a choice of viewing all the other games playing in that league at the same time. No reason why the BBC can't do that for FA Cup matches especially using BBC 2 3 or 4?

The league cup was on iFollow for the first time this season (but that's run by the FL of course) Would have to be the first time that nobody has been able to watch a game. A complete blackout.

Why do the FA need the Government to lean on them, I can't see what they will gain by not showing this weekend's FA Cup ties? The only issue could be thst the BBC/BT Sport are blocking games from being shown on iFollow, but that's not been suggested as the reason so far.

There should be an option to watch all games whether that’s league or cup. Football without fans is nothing.

It's not the end of the world. It will be on the radio and there'll be highlights on TV. The majority of fans wouldn't be able to attend an away game anyway, so not much has changed!

Don't think so, but I think you can from the upper floors of The Park Inn Hotel ? It's only lockdown stopping Mrs Badengas from having a romantic weekend away, she's always wanted to go to Poland.

I’ve noticed that Exeter have made their game against AFC Fylde available on Ifollow for a tenner. Perhaps we will do the same.

upthesaddlers.com/t/v-bristol-rovers-on-ifollow/5460On here one or two fans seem to think that the home side can choose to stream the game, if they are not one of the games selected. BBC and BT sport's might have the rights, but Sky have the rights for the football League. But ifollow can show any games, that are not selected. Would assume it would be the same for the cup, as there is no 3pm watershed. I read that one club said, they could not show the game on Ifollow, as they were selected to be one of the games they go between on the Sunday. As we are not selected, hopefully our game will be shown.

Guess we will find out over the next few days. www.efl.com/broadcast-schedule/

Good spot! www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2020/november/flyde-kick-off/Not sure why they are kicking off at 1pm, although if Walsall/Rovers are going to make £20K+ from iFollow subs then it's surely worthwhile bringing the fixture forward a couple of hours, if that's required? It's now looking a bit more hopefully the game will be on iFollow.

Great news if true. I think we would have taken a good following to Walsaw in normal times - always take a few up there even prior to Darrell Clarke being manager
