Paul Tisdale for me. Reasons: lives local. Not working at the mo (I know he’s keen to get back into it). Loyal manager and is in for the long game as shown at Exeter. Speaks highly of the gas as a whole publicly and privately. Didn’t work for him at Mk dons is the only blotch. Forgot all about Tisdale. I was putting his name forward a couple of months ago and think he ticks a lot of boxes. Let's not forget where Exeter were when he took over there. A national league side. In fact he's had promotions with every club he's been at. I don't believe you suddenly become a bad manager in the league above. For whatever reason it hasn't worked out in L1. I was actua ally aware of that poor run at MK and reading back to it, he had a lot of injuries at that time and it's easy to look at a start like that and say he's not good enough. He still had a decent overall record at MK. The main reason I say he could be a good choice is that Exeter had a good youth set up and record of bringing players through who have ended up going on for a lot more money. He also likes to play football on the floor. With the players that Garner has brought in, we can't suddenly expect to bring in someone who wants to play a more physical game. Then his obvious local connections to the area too. Also interesting how he believes he helped Watkins with his game. And Watkins thanks him a lot for helping his career. The commentators kept mentioning Brentford the other day but let's not forget it was at Exeter under Tisdale where he really started to shine. Tisdale said he converted him from a winger to a striker. His philosophy would definitely fit int with Wael's. I wouldn't write him off.

I feel dirty just reading those words. He is a squeaky little dwarf but he got the sh** out of L1 and kept them in the playoffs in the Championship. Take away the association with the Franchise and he would be a serious contender. I cant see it happening mate but think you're spot on, if we appointed someone with his record at another club I think the majority of us would be delighted

Paul cook had a glint in his eye all day on sky when he spoke about us. I’ve got a feeling he knew. I’d have him in a heartbeat. Absolutely love Paul Cook - would be over the moon with that! Never mind the bollocks

Absolutely love Paul Cook - would be over the moon with that! Too far south for him? Managers that move to preferred locations of the country🤔 where have I seen that before... oh wait yes GC and look how that turned out for him. If you want a job you cant pick your area code and I think Paul Cook will be looking at this vacancie very closely

Newport manager for me. I know they're doing well, but we would be a step up. Agreed.
Flynn has done a great job at Newport and I'd like to think he could be persuaded to move across the river.
Would also be happy with Cook but I'm if that's a realistic possibility.

Still can't ever see it working if I'm honest. And I think Wael would know that too tbh You're probably right. I can imagine there's a little bad blood after the Taylor transfer. Johnson was backed with Red Face's millions and couldn't get The Sh1t promoted. He's not a good manager. We don't want him anywhere near our club. Or Clitterall.

Outside shout but Mick Harford? I know that Luton fans have nothing but good things to say about him after he got Luton promoted to the Championship in 2019.
Has the experience and man management skills that we lacked under Garner.

Honestly, it's easy to lose track.

Honestly, it's easy to lose track. You could be right I try not to take much notice !! However if Johnson had an identical record at a similar size club to the 82ers I think most of us would be pretty happy to take him

Would be happy with either of those managers. I don’t really like the attitude of Flynn, but his results speak for himself. In an ideal world I’d really be looking for someone with L1 promotion experience.
