Looks a good addition to the squad - No nonsense solid Right back.
Fully expecting two or three to move on now which is also good news.
Lets get that Striker in please now PT.

Trying to think now that it is obvious (players that he has worked with previously) are there any more MASSIVE strikers that have played under Tis?

Without sounding pessimistic, I was kind of hoping for an out and out right back. We’ve got an abundance of Centre backs and left backs. Did we really need another versatile defender? He's a rightback that can play along the backline if needed. I'm happy with it, rightback has been a problematic position for two seasons.

Even though going by his previous clubs fans that could be misleading as I’m sure that had some of the Crawley fans were asking some of us why they had signed Tom Nichols it usually can get a gauge on if he could be a good signing and looking at MK Dons fans on twitter they do seem upset that he has left.
Even though he can play centre-back his natural position is right-back.
Seems obvious that he will go at right-back but does that mean Ehmer comes back in at centre or we stick with Baldwin.
Now I might get slagged off here but from the games I’ve watched this season on iFollow I have been more impressed with Baldwin than Ehmer tbh.
Ehmer while not a bad player for me seems to be abit to casual where as Baldwin has abit more urgency in him to get tackles in and with the ball.
Kilgour I think is a dead cert so will be interesting to see what PT does.

Yeah that’s fair, and any improvement on ehmer having to play right back is good enough for me. For some reason going off PT previous comments i had in mind a more attacking right back who could only play that position. I know George played CB for Mk and was Barnsley’s lb when they got promoted so will come in handy one day for his versatility.

Regardless of the number of defenders we have on the books, we have clearly needed strengthening at CB/RB and this should do both of those things, allowing Ehmer to play alongside Kilgour and Williams slotting in at right back. Of course we need a striker but solidifying the defence is equally important.

Was at fault for the goals against Blackpool and Crewe's 3rd are the ones that spring to mind. Often gets caught out of position too.

Looking forward to next season when I think the squad numbers have to be reduced further, its good to have someone who can cover many positions. We have it with James Clarke a few seasons ago.

Awful might be a bit harsh but he definitely has a mistake in him. His passing is better than Ehmer but first and foremost I want my centre backs to defend. That's the exact mistake Garner made with Kilgour, we have to defend first especially in our current position. If we play a back 4 on Sat I'd go with my best 4 defenders in their natural position Williams Kilgour Ehmer Leahy

If I’m brutally honest, I’m not excited or inspired by this in the slightest.
But tbh, that’s probably a good thing. We just need a solid L1 experienced RB.
Hopefully we can move Little on (due to injuries) and keep Hare on as back up to develop him, he also offers good options as RWB.

Good signing for us.
I still think Hare is one of the best crossers of the ball we have had at the Gas and still has a role to play in the future.

Anyone know when Little's contract is up? Done some googling and notice we didn't disclose the length of the contract when we announced his signing... Assuming/hoping it was two years but you never know!

Would PT have been playing Ehmer at R/B I wonder, if he thought he was our best centre back with the way we've been shipping goals?

Think we needed to improve in the right back position. Only problem is squad size, if we can’t move other player’s on. Think we have 7 full backs now, not including Ehmer who has been playing there. Way too many, when you can only have 22 players in a squad. So a good signing on paper, if we can move someone else on.
