Good result and great performance from so many of the team. McCormick for Westbrook wouLd have been the better sub. Thought Ayunga looked useful but really needs more minutes and a real run in the team.

Ogogo looked absolutely shattered by the end of that. Great performance from him after barely any game time at this level in months. Ogogo joined the club two years ago and I have always maintained that he was and is the clubs best midfield player, Ben didn't want him - what on earth was he thinking of.

Great effort from all, well done Rovers, one small step to better times we all hoped for. Clean sheet against potent strike force for our much maligned defence, and created as well, what's not to like? great to have OZZ and Nicho back just need Daly and Jacks now and every thing Will look much better! PS just to emphasise that possession is not the be all and end all, Huddersfield 64% possession, 26 shots and still lost!

Surely McCormick could play at the top of the diamond? Westbrook's a concern as I assume he's got at least another year on his contract, if not, two years. There's clearly something not right there. Went from playing a pretty decent part in Coventry's promotion to looking like he's never played before. Westrbooke looked lost when he came on. Everyone going in with tackles, taking yellow cards for the team and Westrbooke just looked out of place and didn't know how to cope in that kind of game and pitch

What i clear is that with Nicholson and Oztumer in the team they improve the players around them. Hanlon is a different player much more dangerous when he is not trying to carry the attack by himself. Grant had a great game today and shows why he and not Ogogo is the future. Westbrooke is another player who needs options ahead of him to allow him to play, I accept he is not the best scrapper in the world but with a couple of wins we can play ourselves out of the relegation scrap and Westbrooke will play a part. Good to see Ayunga come on and play well winning headers and putting himself about.
At the back Baldwin was 100% better then saturday but I would much prefer to see us switch to a back four and leave a centrehalf out we still offered up to many chances given that we were player 7 defenders. Day did well not to concede tonight some good saves but not much sticks to him. The chance for Nicholson was fantastic and just shows the value of having quality attackers. Much improved. UTG

A Great point away to a very good Posh side. After 10 minutes it looked like it could be a long night but we grew into the game and having Oz and Nicholson back was a big positive. Ayunga looked handful when he came on the one guy that does frustrate me is Hanlon who continually gave the ball away, fell over and just dosent do the basic stuff well. I can't fault his effort though he gives 100% every game. Time to build on this and with the bench looking stronger with players back from injury we can move away from the threat of relegation.

Good result. Looking at the table those games in hand look really important, pity iirc they are against Charlton and Accrington who are both doing well at the moment.
Hopefully we can build on today and start picking up a bit of momentum by at least not losing for a few games....

Aaaaaaaaaaaand breathe!
Great point, didn’t give us a chance before the game, but what a difference Sammy and Oz make.

That’s the sort of performance from Ogogo which reminds me why I was so gutted about him being frozen out under Garner. He’s the energetic, tough tackling midfielder we’ve missed this season, got to be an automatic starter over Upson and Westbrooke going forwards.

He’s probably great in a winning team like with Coventry, in a poor team with few if any natural leaders his standards get dragged down by everyone else’s.

Ogogo looked absolutely shattered by the end of that. Great performance from him after barely any game time at this level in months. He was excellent and Grant has his best game in a Rovers shirt alongside him. Tisdale needs to stick with those two holding with attacking midfielders behind a striker or two going forward now. We’ve got some good players I think we’ve all thought that and the problem all season was too much lightweight in midfield not getting stuck in. Ogogo has given us that strength mentally and physically in the two games he’s played. Westbrooke was an embarrassment, not one for a relegation fight , perhaps Tisdale needs to have a word with Ogogo and Ehmer and explain that Ogogo is captain for the rest of the season I reckon. Westbrooke is a good footballer but not a good team player but can learn from Ogogo like Grant has playing alongside him tonight I think.. All in all a very tough performance from a Rovers side that have all too often looked weak physically and mentally this . Unfortunately Hanlan looks shattered and has for a few matches now he ran his legs off again and works so hard but needs help, we need to sign another striker to offload some of the pressure.

That’ll do. Decent 0-0. Such a different team with Oz and Sammy in. Oz’s range of passing and clever interplay helps us so much. Makes us realise how one dimensional our play was before. And thankfully saving them for the last half an hour should mean they’re spot on for Saturday. With Rochdale leaking goals left right and centre it’s one I’m now looking forward to.
I thought Kilgour and Baldwin were very good, and Day’s best game in a rovers shirt, nothing spectacular but did everything well in awful conditions.
And the most pleasing aspect is they all seemed to care. Not happy with the anti-Westbrooke brigade on here though, don’t think there’s a need to go negative when the evening has been positive.

Not sure how much of last season you watched? Ogogo is a scapper with very limited ball playing skills. Tonight he was fine but hardly a performance that suggests he is our best midfielder.

Very good performance this evening.
HAVE TO KEEP THE SAME STARTING LINEUP ON SATURDAY.
Edit, would have Mccormick in there too somewhere as long as Nicholson or Ozzy aren't sacrificed.

Pretty sure the position he played tonight was the one BG sold to him before he agreed to join us, as it certainly wasn't part of a midfield two. Regardless surely any CM can pass a ball to a teammate. You'd think he'd thrive on the way PT had us playing tonight.

UTG Grant has his best game because he had Ogogo there telling him when to go when to stay , the perfect midfield general captains performance by Ogogo tonight. To say “ Grant was fantastic and showed why he and not Ogogo is the future “ perhaps understates our midfield duo a bit tonight I think.

Real shift from the lads, easy to criticise, but definitely something to build on, the lads will get better over time.
All odds against us this season.

Doesn't explain why he was poor tonight, when every player was on top of their game, even Ayunga looked OK when he came on. He's turning into another Bennett, just taking the p. on a decent contract.
