Fully expected Kevin and john to be moved on, but pleased they are staying, think Joseph is really keen on the project, nothing is guaranteed but I sense good times are on their way.

He is indeed I think he was only here on a short term contract. Wish we could have kept him here but it looks like we have an abundance of coaches so no space for him full time.

Good luck to Byron, a lovely fella and I really hope he does well down there, we won't have to go far to replace him, we can do that from within, perfect position for Jack Mesure, he has experience at that level unlike what he's doing at the moment.

I do welcome Joeys new back room boys...... You have more user names than Jordan's had husbands! People used to say I was indecisive, but I'm not sure

Good luck to him , I’m not surprised he’s gone go Swansea his mrs is from there, I know her brother well, working on and off with him for years. I always liked Byron good player who always gave it everything for the Gas and a very approachable bloke. My mate told him he was working with a Gashead and he went around the changing room with a shirt and got the whole team to sign it. It was the shirt he’d just worn in a match so still had mud on it I’ve never washed it because I didn’t want the signatures to wash off. No wonder my cupboard stinks.

I’m not bothered about wearing it , Byron was probably 11 stone at the time and I’m a 14 stone bricklayer so I doubt it would fit anyway. Sorry to see him go anyway.

What coaching role did Byron have at the Rovers?

What coaching role did Byron have at the Rovers? Part time academy coach. Hence the ridiculousness of suggesting that a full time first team coach could be moved to replace him.

Gone to Swans as lead coach of their Under 18s. Good move for Byron. Since Cameron Toshack who headed up the under 23's down at Swansea left a year or so ago they have been cutting back on the costs of running their academy. Several coaches have left and they have slimmed down the staff. The facilities at Landore adjacent the Liberty stadium are still top class. The first team used to be based their as well but moved to Fairwood on the edge of the Gower about three years ago.
