When segregation is in force the away fans are allocated the whole of the East Stand and the Danson Park Terrace. The terrace is open to the elements so if the weather forecast is not good, then it may be an idea to seek out one of the seats in the East Stand, as they are under roof. There are 600 seats with around 400 standing places available. Normally a good and relaxed day out. The proximity of the High Street means that there are plenty of eating and drinking choices available. www.footballgroundguide.com/conference/welling-united.html

Question to you knowledgeable people - how many miles extra to Welling by going round the M25 as opposed to going through London? i think by far the quicker way is going through london and crossing the river at Vauxall. Thoughts anyone?

Thoughts anyone? Driving through central London is generally a nightmare. The South Circular might look a possibility, but I would suggest you will be much quicker going around the M25. In theory, you could save about 40 miles, but it'll take you at least an hour longer to get there.

Just realised Welling have only lost 1 home game all season!!! Everyone we play seems to have a decent home record. Anyone have the stats to know whether home and away is a more pronounced advantage down here?

Anyone have the stats to know whether home and away is a more pronounced advantage down here? Yes, the worrying thing is that other teams have a decent away record but ours if fairly average.

In theory, you could save about 40 miles, but it'll take you at least an hour longer to get there. as boring and sad (and potentially busy) as the M25 is, it is probably still the best option. I know London pretty well and even with knowing the best routes it can be a 'mare, and remember that a lot of people use the roads in London, especially on a saturday near Christmas. It's not as if the roads in London are empty... The South Circ is also not like the North Circ. The south circ is really just a random collection of roads with no dual carriageway or fast bits. just lots and lots or lights, (small) town centres, left and rights everywhere. good fortune with whatever you choose.

Cant imagine any singers going for seats. I'm not. Unfortunately everyone will be sparsely spread across that terrace, no chance of making any noise!
